Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul penelitian ini adalah Mengembangkan Motivasi Wirausaha Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Batik Kontemporer di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Melihat tingkat apresiasi masyarakat terhadap suatu seni dan budaya saat ini maka diperlukan suatu inovasi yang tepat. Melalui pengenalan kembali budaya lokal, secara bertahap kita dapat membina masyarakat untuk menumbuhkan rasa memiliki terhadap salah satu warisan budaya. Membina eksistensi budaya dan seni di suatu daerah diperlukan beberapa upaya pelestarian dan pengembangan. Salah satunya adalah budaya Batik yang belum banyak berkembang di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan potensi lokal masyarakat di Kabupaten Purwakarta melalui pelatihan batik kontemporer untuk menghasilkan ide-ide inovatif yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kemajuan teknologi, sehingga masyarakat dapat dengan mudah mengapresiasi dan ikut melestarikan budayanya. Selain itu, pelatihan kreatif inipun diharapkan dapat mengembangkan motivasi atau jiwa wirausaha pada masyarakat sehingga mereka mampu secara mandiri mengembangkan perekonomian pribadi. Metode pelatihan Batik kontemporer di Purwakarta ini menggunakan metode eksplorasi yang mengangkat beberapa unsur ciri khas daerah sebagai bentuk respon terhadap perkembangan teknologi yang semakin menuntut kreativitas dalam berpikir dan berkarya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pelatihan yang menumbuhkan rasa memiliki masyarakat terhadap Batik sebagai budaya Indonesia dengan desain khas Kabupaten Purwakarta dan menjadi motivasi dan referensi bagi para inovator dan generasi muda untuk berkarya dan berwirausaha. Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, Batik, Wirausaha, Motivasi ABSTRACT The title of this research is The Training of Contemporary Batik in Improving the Entrepreneurship of Purwakarta People. Seeing the level of public appreciation of an art and culture today, an appropriate innovation is needed. Through the reintroduction of local culture, we can gradually develop the community to foster a sense of belonging to one of the cultural heritages. Fostering the existence of culture and art in an area requires several conservation and development efforts. One of them is the Batik culture which has not developed much in Purwakarta Regency. The purpose of this study is to increase the local potential of the community in Purwakarta Regency through contemporary batik training to produce innovative ideas that can be adapted to technological advances, so that people can easily appreciate and participate in preserving their culture. In addition, this creative training is also expected to develop motivation or entrepreneurial spirit in the community so that they are able to independently develop their personal economy. This contemporary Batik training method in Purwakarta uses an exploratory method that raises several elements of regional characteristics as a form of response to technological developments that increasingly demand creativity in thinking and creating. The result of this research is a training that fosters a sense of community ownership of Batik as Indonesian culture with a typical design of Purwakarta Regency and becomes a motivation and reference for innovators and the younger generation to work and become entrepreneurs.
