Abstract
ABSTRAK Dalam rangka meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa diperlukan perlakuan yang bisa memotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya peran orang tua siswa. Beberapa siswa kelas IV SDN Purwamekar dengan hasil belajar yang kurang menyatakan bahwa orang tua mereka kurang memperhatikan kegiatan belajar dirumah. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh peran orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SD, peran orang tua siswa, serta motivasi belajar siswa. Tahapan pertama merupakan pengumpulan data berupa angket dan dokumentasi kepada 39 orang tua dan siswa kelas IV SDN Purwamekar, kemudian melakukan analisis dan pengolahan data menggunakan Software Microsoft Excel 2016 dan SPSS 25, dengan memperoleh hasil thitung > ttabel yaitu sebesar 7,371 > 2,026, dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan dan positif pengaruh peran orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Purwamekar. Peran orang tua siswa kelas IV SDN Purwamekar termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase sebesar 59%, motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Purwamekar termasuk kategori sedang dengan persentase 51%. Siswa yang mendapatkan peran orang tua yang tinggi tentunya akan memiliki motivasi yang lebih baik dari pada siswa dengan peran orang tua yang rendah. ----- ABSTRACT In order to increase students' learning motivation, treatment is needed that can motivate students in learning, one of which is the role of parents. Several fourth grade students at SDN Purwamekar with poor learning outcomes stated that their parents paid less attention to learning activities at home. Therefore, this study aims to determine how much influence the role of parents on the learning motivation of elementary school students, the role of parents, and student motivation. The first stage is collecting data in the form of questionnaires and documentation to 39 parents and fourth grade students at SDN Purwamekar, then analyzing and processing data using Microsoft Excel 2016 software and SPSS 25, by obtaining the results of tcount > ttable which is 7.371 > 2.026, with a significant value 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant and positive influence on the influence of the role of parents on the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN Purwamekar. The role of parents of fourth grade students at SDN Purwamekar is in the medium category with a percentage of 59%, the learning motivation of grade IV students at SDN Purwamekar is in the medium category with a percentage of 51%. Students who get a high parental role will certainly have better motivation than students with a low parental role.
