Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang difokuskan terhadap gambaran disiplin kerja, serta kinerja pegawai. Disiplin kerja merupakan salah satu faktor terpenting dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia, Sumber daya manusia sebagai salah satu sumber daya dalam organisasi, memiliki peran penting dan tanggung jawab dalam upaya pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Sehingga, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat disiplin kerja pegawai, kinerja pegawai, serta pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai widyaiswara di PPPPTK IPA. Melalui metode deskriptif verivikatif, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner tertutup yang dibagikan kepada 46 responden. Temuan dari hasil perhitungan melalui teknik statistik non parametrik dengan metode Korelasi Rank Spearman, menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi terhadap variabel X (Disiplin Kerja) dan variabel Y (Kinerja Pegawai) memiliki keeratan dengan kategori cukup/sedang dengan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Sehingga, dapat dikatakan bahwa variabel X (Disiplin Kerja) cukup berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Y (Kinerja Pegawai). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka diharapkan Kepala Pusat PPPPTK IPA, sebagai pihak yang melakukan penilaian terhadap kinerja pegawai, dapat lebih memperhatikan dan bertindak tegas terhadap sikap disiplin pegawai. Karena, disiplin kerja sebagai salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja, ketika disiplin kerja tinggi, maka kinerja pegawai akan meningkat dan tercapainya tujuan organisasi yang lebih optimal. Kata kunci: Disiplin Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai, dan Sumber Daya Manusia. ABSTRACT The research is a study that focuses on the description of work discipline, and employee performance. Work discipline is one of the most important factors in human resource management. Human resources as one of the resources in the organization have an important role and responsibility in achieving organizational goals. So, this study was conducted to determine the level of employee discipline, employee performance, and the effect of work discipline on performance of widyaiswara employees at PPPPTK IPA. Through a descriptive verification method, with a quantitative approach, and data collection techniques are closed questionnaires distributed to 46 respondents. Findings from the calculations through non-parametric statistical techniques with Spearman Rank Correlation methods, indicating that the value of the correlation coefficient on the X variable (Work Discipline) and Y variable (Employee Performance) closeness with moderate category with a positive and significant relationship. Thus, it can be said that the X variable (Work Discipline) has a positive and significant effect on the Y variable (Employee Performance). Based on the result, it is hoped that the Head of the PPPPTK IPA Center, as the party assessing of employee performance, can pay more attention to and act decisively on employee discipline. Because, work discipline as one of the factors that affect performance, when work discipline is high, employee performance will increase, and achieve more optimal organizational goals.
