Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menyimak Cerita Melalui Metode Bercerita Menggunakan Media Gambar Seri”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh gambaran tentang meningkatnya kemampuan menyimak melalui penggunaan media gambar seri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak kelompok B RA Istiqomah tahun ajaran 2013-2014 yang berjumlah 12 anak. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini: (1) Bagaimana kemampuan menyimak cerita di kelompok B RA Istiqomah sebelum menggunakan media gambar seri? (2) Bagaimana penggunaan media gambar seri dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak cerita di kelompok B RA Istiqomah? (3) Bagaimana kemampuan menyimak cerita di kelompok B RA Istiqomah setelah mengunakan media gambar seri?. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menyimak melalui penggunaan media gambar seri. Pada siklus III dari 8 indikator kemampuan menyimak cerita sebanyak 64% berada pada kategori baik yaitu anak mampu melakukan kegiatan secara mandiri, 32% berada pada kategori cukup yaitu anak mampu melakukan kegiatan namun masih memerlukan bantuan dan bimbingan dari guru dan 4% berada pada kategori kurang yaitu anak belum mampu melakukan kegiatan. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar seri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak cerita. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Menyimak, Cerita, Media Gambar Seri This study entitled "Improving skill of Listening Story Using Media Image Series Method". The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview improve listening skills through using media images series. The method used in this study is action research method. The technique used in this study is the observation, interview and documentation. Subjects in this study that is the children in group B RA Istiqomah school year 2013-2014, amount 12 children. The formulation of the problem in this study is : (1) How does the skill to listen story in the group B RA Istiqomah before using the media image series ? (2) How to use the media image series to improve listening story skills in group B RA Istiqomah ? (3 ) How does the skill to listen story in group B RA Istiqomah after using a media images series? The results showed an improve listening skills through using media images series. In the third cycle of 8 indicators listening story skills as much as 64 % are in a good category that children are able to perform activities independently, 32% are in the enough category that is the children are able to doing activities but still need help and guidance from teachers and 4% were in the less category that is the child has not been able to do activities. Based on these data it can be concluded that the using media image series can improve the skill to listen the story . Keywords : Listening Skill, Story , Media Image Series
