Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa majelis taklim sebagai satuan Pendidikan Luar Sekolah merupakan wadah yang tumbuh menjamur di masyarakat dan sangat diminati oleh ibu rumah tangga dalam peningkatan pengetahuan agama. Majelis taklim yang telah berjalan cukup lama masih menunjukkan hasil pembelajaran yang belum dapat mengubah perilaku Islami secara signifikan, sistem penyajian materi yang tidak variatif dengan hanya menggunakan satu metode pembelajaran yaitu metode ceramah. Bahan ajar yang diberikan belum mempunyai tema dan hasil pembelajaran tidak pernah dievaluasi oleh para penceramah dan pengelola majelis taklim sehingga tidak memperoleh gambaran apakah bahan ajar yang diberikan mempeoleh peningkatan perilaku Islami bagi anggota majelis taklim. Berdasarkan kondisi di atas, penelitian ini menemukan sebuah model pembelajaran tematik berbasis webbed dalam meningkatkan perilaku Islami ibu rumah tangga dengan mengambil kasus di majelis taklim Siti Aisyah Telkom Witel Sumut-Barat Medan. Secara teoritis penelitian ini dilandasi dengan teori pendidikan luar sekolah, teori pembelajaran khususnya pembelajaran tematik berbasis webbed, teori perilaku dan sistematika ajaran Islam yang terdiri dari aqidah, ibadah, akhlak dan muamalah. Secara metodologis penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development), pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Prosedur (research and development) digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi empiris dari penyelenggaraan majelis taklim. Pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menguji efektifitas model yang dikembangkan. Model pengujian menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest dan posttest design yang diujicobakan pada kelompok tunggal (One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design), dan tidak menggunakan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: Pertama, kondisi objektif pembelajaran di majelis taklim belum dapat meningkatkan perilaku Islami ibu rumah tangga secara signifikan. Kedua, Model konseptual pengembangan model pembelajaran tematik berbasis webbed dikembangkan dengan memadukan input, proses dan output serta fungsi manajemen perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Ketiga, hasil uji efektifitas memberi keyakinan bahwa kelompok eksprimen terjadi peningkatan perilaku Islami yang lebih baik setelah diberlakukan treatmen atau perlakuan model ini. Keempat, model pembelajaran tematik berbasis webbed efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku Islami Ibu Rumah Tangga. Rekomendasi yang diajukan untuk Kementerian Agama, Majelis Ulama Indonesia dan Pengelola Majelis Taklim dapat mensosialisasikan model pembelajaran tematik berbasis webbed ini. In Indonesia, majlis taklim is a very popular non-formal educational organization among muslim women, who find themselves ini need to increase their religious knowledge. However, despite its long term activities and its aim to Islamize the behaviour of its members, the change is still below the expectation of its otganizers. Several factors significantly explain this problem are the use of preaching as the only teaching method, the lack of specific themes in teaching materials, and the non-existence of evaluation mechanisn. Consequently, the outcome of the learning process is difficult to evaluate, including whether the learning recourcess is appropriate for the objective of changing the behavour of the members of the majelis taklim. This study aims to formulate a model for webbed-based thematic learning to improve behaviour of the members of majelis taklim in line with Islamic principles. This study conducted in a majelis taklim under the mangement of Siti Aisyah organization at Telkom Witel Sumut-Barat, Medan. Theoretically, this study refers to learning theories, particularly webbed-based thematic learning behavioral theory, and the systematization of Islamic teaching consisting of aqidah, ibadah, akhlak and muamalah. Methodologically this study used research and developmental approach, and two methods of quantitative and qualitative.Whereas the research and development procedure is appropriate for producing a learning material, qualitative method is useful for describing empirical finding and the work of majelis taklim. In addition, quantitative method is applied to examine the effectivity of the model design for one-group without control group. This study reveals the following findings. First, the objective condition of the majelis taklim is not significantly efficacious in improving the behaviour of its members. Second, the conceptual model of webbed-based thematic learning development is designed by combining input, process, and out put as well as the functions of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Third, the test of effectivity demonstrates that there is an increase in the Islamic behaviour of the experimental group after the treatment. Fourth, webbed-based thematic learning is effective in increasing the Islamic behaviour of the members of majelis taklim. Based of its findings, this study recommends the use and socialization of webbed-based thematig learning development to Drapartmen of Religion, the Council of Indonesian Ulama, and the management of majelis taklim in Indonesia.
