Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti banyaknya siswa yang mendapatkan nilai hasil belajar di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimum pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri Kota Cimahi pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji model moderasi dari personality traits pada pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan survei eksplanatori dengan angket skala numerik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 874 siswa dan menggunakan teknik random sampling diperoleh sebanyak 274 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) melalui SPSS 26.0 for Windows. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) Self-efficacy berada pada kategori sedang dan personality traits pada dimensi agreebleness, conscientiousness, dan openness to experience berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan dimensi extroversion dan neuroticsm berada pada kategori tinggi. 2) Self-efficacy berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. 3) Personality traits tidak memoderasi pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan informasi terkait konsep keilmuan dan wawasan ilmu pengetahuan tentang peran efek moderasi personality traits dalam mempengaruhi self-efficacy terhadap hasil belajar siswa di sekolah menegah atas. This research based on that a lot of students who got learning outcomes scores below the minimum completeness criteria in economic subjects in 11th grade IPS at public senior high school of Cimahi City in the 2018/2019. This study aims to examine the moderation model of personality traits on the effect of self-efficacy on student learning outcomes in economic subjects. The method in this study used an explanatory survey with a numerical scale questionnaire. The population in this study were 874 students. Sample of 274 students by using random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) through SPSS 26.00 for Windows. The findings of this study indicate 1) Self-efficacy is in the moderate category, dimensions of personality traits such as agreebleness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience are in the moderate category, while extroversion and neuroticsm are in the high category. 2) Self-efficacy has a positive effect on student learning outcomes. 3) Personality traits do not moderate the effect of self-efficacy on student learning outcomes. The implications of this study are provide information related to scientific concepts and insights about the moderation model of personality traits on the effect of self-efficacy on student learning outcomes in senior high school students.
