Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya siswa belum memiliki keterampilan berbicara yang baik dan benar. Sehingga bahasa Arab sebagai jawaban tantangan globalisasi seakan kehilangan aktualisasinya, padahal diharapkan bahasa Arab di lingkungan pesantren dapat menjadi pelopor tumbuh dan kembangnya ilmu bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Arab serta upaya guru untuk mengatasinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan dari penggunaan metode ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa kelas VI KUI Putri Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Subang dalam berbicara bahasa Arab. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam berbicara bahasa Arab. Kesulitan linguistik siswa yang utama dalam berbicara bahasa Arab adalah 1) Siswa merasa sulit dalam penempatan kosa kata dalam berbicara bahasa arab beserta kurangnya hafalan pembendaharaan kosa kata; 2) Adanya bahasa yang salah secara turun-temurun, sehingga siswa terbiasa mengucapkan bahasa yang salah walaupun sudah diberitahu yang benar; 3) Sebagian besar tidak berbicara bahasa arab dengan makhorijul huruf yang tepat; 4) Sulit mengaplikasikan bentuk kata kerja atau fi’il yang sesuai dengan ilmu shorf dalam berbicara bahasa Arab, dan 5) Sulit berbicara sesuai dengan kaidah urutan kaidah nahwu yang benar. Adapun faktor kesulitan non linguistik tidak begitu signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap kesulitan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa. Abstract The study was due to the students who lack the proper speaking skill. So that Arabic as the challenge of globalization seemed to have lost its actuality, whereas it was hoped that Arabic in the boarding school would be the pioneer of the language. The research aimed to know the difficulties of the students in speaking Arabic as well as teachers' efforts to overcome them. The method used in this study was a descriptive study method with a qualitative approach. The purpose of this method was to describe the difficulties of female students of class VI KUI of Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Subang in speaking Arabic. The techniques of collecting data used were observation, questionnaire, interview, and document study. The result of the research showed that the most students had difficulty in speaking Arabic. The main linguistic difficulty of the student when speaking Arabic were (1) The students found it difficult to put a vocabulary in speaking Arabic and lack of memorized language vocabulary; (2) There are wrong languages from one generation to another, so the students were accustomed to speak the wrong languages even they were told the truth; (3) The most students did not speak Arabic with the right pronunciation; (4) It was difficult to apply the form of a verb or fi'il that appropriate with the Ilm Shorf in speaking Arabic, and (5) It was difficult to speak in the proper of the Nahwu rules. As for the factor of non-linguistic difficulty was not significant as to the difficulty of the students' speaking in Arabic.
