Abstract

Minat generasi muda saat ini terhadap pertanian masih rendah bagi mereka yang terdidik maupun yang belum mengenal pertanian itu sendiri. Hal ini mendasari BBPP Lembang untuk memfasilitasi generasi muda belajar terkait bidang pertanian melalui pelatihan agri training camp. Adapun metode pembelajaran yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode outbound. Yang didominasi 70% metode outbound dan 30% metode ceramah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah penerapan metode outbound, hasil penerapan metode outbound untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta, faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelatihan tersebut. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah lima orang, yaitu penyelenggara, dua tutor, dan dua peserta pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian, dapat ditemukan bahwa: 1) Langkah metode outbound terbagi kedalam empat tahap yakni pembentukan pengalaman dalam tahap ini melibatkan peserta untuk menganalisis kebutuhan dan membuat rancangan untuk kegiatan pelatihan serta proses pelaksanaan dikemas dengan cara materi serta praktik seperti kunjungan lapangan, identifikasi tanaman&hama, bermain peran agribisnis. Tahap perenungan pengalaman yaitu peserta menceritakan kembali pengalaman yang didapat dan diakhir mempresentasikan produk yang telah dibuat. Tahap pembentukan konsep tahap ini peserta menyimpulkan dan mengembangkan materi seperti membuat tabulapot & merencanakan proses penanaman. Tahap pengujian konsep tahap ini peserta berdiskusi dan tanya jawab untuk menemukan solusi. 2) Hasil penerapan pelatihan terlihat meningkat dalam pengetahuan dan pemahamannya yang terbagi ke dalam tiga ranah yakni ranah kognitif peserta mengetahui materi dasar terkait pertanian, ranah afektif terlihat peserta konsisten dalam menerapkan pengalaman dan lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan, ranah psikomotor terlihat kreativitas peserta berkembang diantaranya memanfaatkan lahan kosong untuk menanam pakcoy. 3) Faktor pendukung ini meliputi pengetahuan siswa, sikap, motivasi, kemampuan tutor, mau untuk belajar lagi, sarana prasarana dan faktor penghambat meliputi lingkungan sosial yaitu penyesuaian waktu dengan petani milenial dan kurangnya sosialisasi antar kelompok. Kata kunci : Metode Outbound, Pelatihan, Pemahaman The interest of today's young generation towards agriculture is still low for those who are educated and who do not know the farm itself. This is based on BBPP Lembang to facilitate the younger generation to learn related to agriculture through agri training camp. The learning methods used in this training use lecture methods and outbound methods. Dominated by 70% outbound method and 30% lecture method. This study aims to find out the steps of the application of outbound methods, the results of the application of outbound methods to improve the understanding of participants, supporting factors and inhibitions in the training. In this study using descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interview, observation, and documentation studies techniques. The subjects of the study numbered five people, namely the organizer, two tutors, and two trainees. Based on the findings of the study, it can be found that: 1) Outbound method steps are divided into four stages, namely the formation of experience in this stage involving participants to analyze the needs and make designs for training activities and implementation processes packaged by means of materials and practices such as field visits, identification of plants &pests, role-playing agribusiness. The contemplation stage of the experience is the participant recounts the experience gained and at the end of presenting the product that has been made. The stage of concept formation of this stage participants concluded and developed materials such as making tabulapots and planning the planting process. The concept testing phase of this stage participants discuss and to find a solution. 2) The results of the implementation of the training seemed to increase in knowledge and understanding which is divided into three areas, namely the cognitive realm of participants knowing the basic materials related to agriculture, the affective realm of participants seen consistent in applying experience and more concerned about the environment, the realm of psychomotor creativity seen participants develop including utilizing empty land to plant pakcoy. 3) These supporting factors include students' knowledge, attitude, motivation, tutor skills, willingness to learn again, infrastructure facilities and inhibitory factors covering the social environment, namely time adjustment with millennial farmers and lack of socialization between groups Keywords : Outbound Method, Training, Understanding
