Abstract

Siswa sekolah dasar telah melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh selama sembilan bulan. Pembelajarannya didampingi oleh orang tua di rumah dengan memanfaatkan kegiatan-kegiatan pada buku tematik saja. Ditambah lagi keterbatasan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar yang menekankan pada kegiatan-kegiatan ilmiah seperti memprediksi, mengamati, dan menjelaskan. Hal tersebut melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dengan berbasis model pembelajaran POE (Predict Observe Explain) pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Design and Development dengan model ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian terhadap kelayakan produk yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan praktisi dari aspek kelayakan isi, kelayakan materi, kelayakan penyajian, kelayakan kegrafikan, dan kelayakan kebahasaan diperoleh persentase rata-rata 90,02% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh siswa dan orang tua untuk mengetahui respon pengguna dari aspek materi, tampilan, kegrafikan, dan kebahasaan diperoleh persentase rata-rata 93,35% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Adapun komentar yang diberikan oleh siswa sebagai pengguna LKS berbasis model POE yaitu siswa merasa senang saat melakukan percobaan dan LKS dapat memudahkan siswa dalam melakukan percobaan. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu dihasilkannya LKS berbasis model POE yang tervalidasi dan layak untuk digunakan dalam dalam pembelajaran IPA pada kelas IV sekolah dasar. ----- Elementary school students have been doing distance learning for nine months. The learning is accompanied by parents at home by utilizing activities in thematic books only. In addition, the limitations of teachers in developing teaching materials that emphasize scientific activities such as predicting, observing, and explaining. This is the background of this research. Therefore, a research was carried out aimed at developing teaching material products in the form of Student Worksheets (LKS) based on the POE (Predict Observe Explain) learning model on the material properties of light. This study uses the Design and Development research method with the ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation) model. Based on the results of the assessment of the feasibility of the product carried out by material experts, linguists, media experts, and practitioners from the aspects of content feasibility, material feasibility, presentation feasibility, graphic feasibility, and language feasibility, an average percentage of 90.02% was obtained with the category "Very Good". Based on the results of the assessment conducted by students and parents to find out the user's response from the aspects of the material, appearance, graphics, and language, the average percentage was 93,35% with the "Very Good" category. As for the comments given by students as users of the POE model-based worksheets, students feel happy when doing experiments and worksheets can make it easier for students to do experiments. The conclusion from the results of this study is the production of worksheets based on the POE model that is validated and suitable for use in science learning in grade IV elementary schools.
