Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengaruh Metode Bermain Peran Terhadap Keterampilan Berbicara Peserta Didik dengan Speech Delay di TK Tunas Cilik Bandung Anak dengan Speech Delay merupakan anak yang memiliki keterlambatan dalam berbicara, ditandai dengan kemampuan berbicaranya dibawah kemampuan berbicara anak-anak seusianya. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan anak berusia 6 tahun berinisial FK yang mengalami speech delay dimana keterampilan berbicaranya dibawah rata-rata anak-anak seusianya, sehingga FK memerlukan bantuan untuk mengasah keterampilan berbicaranya. Salah satu upaya meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara FK adalah menggunakan metode belajar bermain peran. Pemilihan metode bermain peran ini berdasarkan pada karakteristik anak TK yang berada pada tahap senang bermain, sedangkan metode bermain peran salah satunya bertujuan untuk melatih perkembangan Bahasa dan bicara anak. Hal tersebut yang melatarbelakanhi dilakukannya penelittian ini yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh metode bermain peran dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara anak dengan speech delay. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalam metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan Single Subject Research dengan desain penelitian A-B-A. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mean level keterampilan berbicara anak dengan speech delay berinisial FK pada baseline-1 (A-1) sebesar 27%, fase intervensi (B) sebesar 33,71%, dan fase baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 43,93%. Terlihat dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan pada keterampilan berbicara dengan menggunakan metode bermain peran pada anak dengan speech delay dengan kesimpulan anak dengan speech delay mampu mengembangkan keterampilan berbicaranya secara perlahan. Kata kunci : Speech Delay, Keterampilan Berbicara, Metode Bermain Peran ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF ROLE-PLAYING METHODS AT TK TUNAS CILIK BANDUNG ON THE SPEAKING SKILLS OF STUDENTS WITH SPEECH DELAY Children with Speech Delay are children with speech delays who are distinguished by their ability to talk below the ability of children of their age to speak. In this research, it was found that a 6-year-old child with the initials FK suffered a speech delay where his speaking abilities were below the average of his age, so that FK needed support to develop his speaking abilities. The use of role-playing learning techniques is one of the attempts to strengthen FK's speaking skills. The choice of this role-playing technique is based on the characteristics of children in kindergarten who are at the happy-playing level, while the role-playing technique seeks to train the language and speech development of children. This is what drives the conduct of this research to assess the effects of this research. An experimental procedure using the Single Subject Study methodology with the research design of A-B-A is the research method used. The findings of this study show that with the initials FK at baseline-1 (A-1), the mean level of children's speech skills with speech delay is 27 percent, the intervention period (B) is 33.71 percent, and the baseline-2 phase (A-2) is 43.93 percent. From these findings, it can be shown that an improvement in speaking ability in children with speech delay uses the role-playing approach to suggest that children with speech delay are able to slowly improve their speaking abilities.
