Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran CoRT berbasis literasi kritis bagi siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development model Dick and Carey yang disederhanakan menjadi tiga tahapan, studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model dan evaluasi. Tahap I meliputi tiga langkah awal model pengembangan Dick and Carey, yaitu mengidentifikasi tujuan pembelajaran, melakukan analisis pembelajaran dan menganalisis karakter siswa dan konteks pembelajaran. Tahap II yaitu merumuskan tujuan performansi, mengembangkan instumen penilaian, mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran dan mengembangkan serta memilih bahan ajar. Setelah seluruh tahapan dilakukan maka tahap terakhir adalah tahap III, evaluasi. Evaluasi meliputi uji/validasi pakar, uji kelompok kecil, dan revisi model. Tahap terakhir bertujuan untuk mengetahui valid tidaknya produk yang dikembangkan menurut para ahli dan juga untuk mengetahui respons dari guru kelas V dan siswa kelas V SDN Ciwaruga 02 Kabupaten Bandung. Dari hasil tahap I melalui wawancara terbuka dan observasi lapangan, diketahui siswa kelas V di sekolah tersebut bukan siswa yang aktif dalam mengikuti proses belajar. Hal ini dikarenakan beberapa faktor, diantaranya cara mengajar guru yang monoton dan kurangnya perangkat pembelajaran untuk membantu guru mengajar. Dari hasil analisis tersebut peneliti melakukan pengembangan model pembelajaran CoRT berbasis literasi kritis. Pada tahap pengembangan model peneliti memadukan unsur-unsur pengembagan model pembelajaran yang dikemukakan oleh Joyce dan Weil. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran berupa RPP, materi, LKS, dan evaluasi. Seluruh produk perangkat pengembangan sudah dinyatakan layak oleh para ahli dengan hasil nilai yang tertinggi. Uji coba dilakukan pada siswa kelas V dan guru untuk mengetahui respons setelah menerapkan pembelajaran menggunanakan model pembelajaran CoRT berbasis literasi kritis. ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT OF COGNITIVE RESEARCH TRUST (CoRT) MODEL CRITICAL LITERACY BASED FOR FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS This study aims to develop a cognitive research trust model based on critical literacy for grade V elementary school students. The research method used was the Dick and Carey Research and Development model which was simplified into three stages, preliminary studies, model development and evaluation. Stage I includes three initial steps for the Dick and Carey development model, namely identifying learning objectives, analyzing learning and analyzing student character and learning context. Phase II, namely formulating performance objectives, developing assessment instruments, developing learning strategies and developing and selecting teaching materials. After all stages are carried out, the last stage is stage III, evaluation. Evaluation includes expert test / validation, small group test, and model revision. The last stage aims to determine the validity of the product developed according to experts and also to determine the response of class V teachers and class V students of SDN Ciwaruga 02, Bandung Regency. From the results of stage I through open interviews and field observations, it was known that the fifth grade students at the school were not students who were active in the learning process. This is due to several factors, including the monotonous way of teaching teachers and the lack of learning tools to help teachers teach. From the results of this analysis, the researchers developed a critical literacy-based CoRT model. In the model development stage, the researcher combines the elements of the learning model development proposed by Joyce and Weil. The products produced from this research are learning tools in the form of lesson plans, materials, worksheets, and evaluations. All product development tools have been declared valid by experts with the highest score results. Trials were carried out on fifth grade students and teachers to determine their responses after implementing learning using the Cognitive Research Trust (CoRT) model based on critical literacy.
