Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PENGAYAAN TATA BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN MODEL BERPIKIR INDUKTIF BERBASIS BUDAYA MELALUI VISUALISASI KOMIK PIPIT SALINDRI 1803592 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesalahan berbahasa yang terjadi pada siswa di setiap jenjang pendidikan, terutama siswa sekolah menengah pertama (SMP). Manfaat memahami Tata Bahasa Baku Bahasa Indonesia (TBBBI) dan kaidah ejaan bahasa Indonesia pada siswa SMP yaitu siswa dapat berbahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk buku pengayaan tata bahasa Indonesia dan kaidah ejaan bahasa Indonesia dengan model berpikir induktif berbasis budaya melalui visualisasi komik. Produk buku ini berjudul Komik Edukasi: Memahami Tata Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Kebudayaan Lasem. Komik ini memiliki tujuan untuk memopulerkan dan memberikan pemahaman secara ringan mengenai materi TBBBI dan kaidah ejaan bahasa Indonesia kepada siswa. Dalam komik terdapat lima cerita dengan materi TBBBI dan budaya Lasem yang berbeda di setiap ceritanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melengkapi materi TBBBI dan kaidah ejaan bahasa Indonesia yang terintegrasi di setiap teks buku ajar siswa. Secara keseluruhan penelitian ini mengadaptasi metode pengembangan Dick & Carey (2009) yang mencakup sepuluh tahapan penelitian dan pengembangan. Teknik wawancara dan penyebaran angket digunkana untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan siswa dan guru terhadap pengembangan buku pengayaan. Penggunaan model berpikir induktif yang dikembangkan oleh Joyce dan Weil memiliki beberapa langkah seperti a) pembentukan konsep, b) interpretasi data, c) penerapan prnsip, dan d) konfirmasi. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di tiga sekolah di Kota Kendal yaitu SMP Negeri 2 Kendal, SMP Negeri 2 Kaliwungu, dan SMP Negeri 2 Pegandon. Berdasarkan respon responden sebanyak 125 siswa, produk buku pengayaan ini layak digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan semangat belajar materi TBBBI dan kaidah ejaan bahasa Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Model berpikir induktif, buku pengayaan, komik edukasi, kebudayaan lasem RESEARRCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF INDONESIAN GRAMMAR ENRICHMENT BOOK WITH INDUCTIVE THINKING MODEL BASED CULTURAL THROUGH THE VISUALIZATION OF COMICS PIPIT SALINDRI 1803592 ABSTRACT This research is motivated by language errors that always occur in students at every level of education, especially junior high school students. The importance of understanding the Indonesian Language Standard Grammar (TBBBI) and Indonesian spelling rules for junior high school students is very useful for the development of communication both orally and in writing. The purpose of this research is to develop books to enrich Indonesian grammar and Indonesian spelling rules with a culture-based inductive thinking model through comic visualization. The product of this book is entitled Educational Comics: Understanding Indonesian Grammar through Lasem Culture. This comic has a mission to popularize and understand TBBBI material and Indonesian spelling rules to junior high school students. This comic has five different stories that cover different materials. This research was conducted to complement the TBBBI material and Indonesian spelling rules which are integrated in each student textbook. Overall, this study adapts the Dick & Carey (2009) development method which includes ten stages of research and development. Interview techniques and questionnaire distribution were used to identify the needs of students and teachers for the development of enrichment books in this study. The inductive thinking model in the steps developed by Joyce and Weil is a) concept formation, b) data interpretation, c) application of principles, and d) confirmation. The research location was conducted in three schools in Kendal City, namely SMP Negeri 2 Kendal, SMP Negeri 2 Kaliwungu, and SMP Negeri 2 Pegandon. Based on the responses of 125 students, this enrichment book product is suitable for use and can increase motivation and enthusiasm for learning TBBBI material and Indonesian spelling rules.
