Abstract

BMT merupakan jawaban serta alternatif dalam mengatasi permasalahan UMKM di mana UMKM mengalami keterbatasan modal dan sulitnya akses sumber permodalan. Namun banyak BMT yang tidak bertahan dan tutup usaha. Dari 40 BMT yang pernah berdiri di Kota Bandung, pada tahun 2019 tersisa 12 BMT dan pada tahun 2020 tersisa 9 BMT. Dengan demikian, hal ini menjadi asumsi bahwa tingkat sustainabilitas BMT di Kota Bandung cukup rendah dan sekaligus mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat permasalahan yang melingkupi BMT baik itu dari sisi internal maupun sisi eksternal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat strategi sustainabilias BMT di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis SWOT Matriks IFAS dan EFAS yang akan menganalisis faktor internal berupa kekuatan dan kelemahan dan faktor eksternal berupa peluang dan ancaman. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pihak yang berkompeten serta mengetahui secara keseluruhan kondisi BMT di Kota Bandung dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak tujuh orang responden expertis yang siap dan bersedia menjadi responden. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT dengan matriks IFAS dan EFAS hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BMT di kota Bandung menempati posisi area kuadran matriks V “Hold and Maintain”. Kuadran ini menjelaskan bahwa kondisi sustainabilitas BMT sedang dalam kondisi tidak kuat namun juga tidak sangat lemah atau posisi rata-rata, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa BMT di Kota Bandung sedang dalam masa mempertahankan namun masih memiliki kekuatan dan juga peluang untuk dapat dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan alternatif strategi pada kuadran 1B yang menunjukkan pada pilihan strategi yaitu stable growth atau strategi pertumbuhan secara stabil atau secara perlahan strategi yang masukan yang baik digunakan dalam sustainabilitas BMT adalah strategi S-O dan W-O sehingga strategi yang dirumuskan adalah memanfaatkan seluruh kekuatan untuk menggali dan memanfaatkan peluang sebesar-besarnya. BMT is an answer as well as an alternative in overcoming MSME problems in which MSMEs experience limited capital and difficulty accessing capital sources. However, many BMTs did not survive and closed their businesses. Of the 40 BMTs that have been established in Bandung City, in 2019 there are 12 BMTs remaining and in 2020 the remaining 9 BMTs. Thus, this becomes an assumption that the level of sustainability of BMT in Bandung City is quite low and at the same time indicates that there are problems that surround BMT both internally and externally. The purpose of this research is to make a strategy for the sustainability of BMT in Bandung. This study uses the IFAS and EFAS matrix SWOT analysis method which will analyze internal factors such as strengths and weaknesses and external factors such as opportunities and threats. The population in this study are those who are competent and know the overall condition of BMT in the city of Bandung and the sampling uses the purposive sampling method with a total sample of seven expert respondents who are ready and willing to become respondents. Based on the SWOT analysis with IFAS and EFAS matrices, the results of the research show that BMT in the city of Bandung occupies the position of the matrix V quadrant area "Hold and Maintain". This quadrant explains that the condition of BMT sustainability is not strong but also not very weak or an average position, this shows that BMT in Bandung is in a period of maintaining but still has the strength and opportunity to be developed. The results also show alternative strategies in quadrant 1B which show the choice of strategy, namely stable growth or a stable growth strategy or slowly, the strategies that are good input for BMT sustainability are SO and WO strategies so that the strategy formulated is to use all the strengths to explore and take advantage of opportunities as much as possible.
