Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa pada kelas V di SDN Neglasari Bandung Barat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Think-Pair-Share. Serta untuk melihat aktivitas belajar siswa selama belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Think-Pair-Share. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Neglasari yang berjumlah 24 orang siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Instrument yang digunakan adalah RPP, lembar soal, lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil perencanaan tes pemahaman konsep IPA pada siklus I mencapai persentase 68,75%, pada siklus II sudah menunjukkan peningkatan yaitu 87,5%. Aktivitas guru pada pembelajaran siklus I mencapai 53,12%, pada siklus II peningkatan yang dicapai cukup optimal yaitu 81,25%. Aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran siklus I mencapai 65,32%, pada siklus II dengan peningkatan yang dicapau sudah cukup optimal yaitu 84,20%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa tentang sifat-sifat cahaya dapat ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Think-Pair-Share. Pemahaman Konsep, Pembelajaran IPA SD ----- This study aims to improve and increase the activity and understanding of science concepts for fifth grade students at SDN Neglasari, West Bandung by using themodel Cooperative Learning Type Think-Pair-Share. The research method applies Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects used as research sources were 24 students of SDN Neglasari. The research was carried out in two cycles. The research instruments were lesson plans, test sheets, and student and teacher observation data. The results of the planning of the science concept understanding test in the first cycle were 68.75%, then the second cycle increased by 87.5%. Teacher activity in the first cycle of learning reached 53.12%, in the second cycle the improvement achieved was quite optimal, namely 81.25%. Student activity in the first cycle of learning reached 65.32%, in the second cycle the improvement achieved was optimal, namely 84.20%. It can be concluded that through the application of thelearning model, Cooperative Learning Type Think-Pair-Share students' understanding of concepts increases.
