Abstract
Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran aktif tipe reading berbantuan macromedia flash untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa karena belum memenuhi standar ketuntasan minimum Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan upaya peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui model pembelajaran aktif tipe reading guide berbantuan macromedia flash pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Model pembelajaran membaca aktif terdiri dari lima fase yaitu, menyampaikan tujuan dan memotivasi, menyajikan informasi, mengorganisasikan siswa dalam kelompok, membimbing kelompok bekerja dan belajar,dan evaluasi. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D menurut Thiagarajan. Validasi produk yang dilakukan meliputi, yakni (a) kelayakan konsep model, (b) rancangan awal model, dan (c) perencanaan pengembangan model, Pengujian sifat data meliputi tiga cara yakni uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t. Uji coba produk dilakukan terhadap enam fase model pembelajaran aktif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, uji coba terbatas, dan uji coba luas dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran aktif tipe reading guide berbantuan macromedia flash layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman teks eksposisi. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Aktif, Model Pembelajaran Aktif tipe Reading Guide, Macromedia Flash, Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman, Teks Eksposisi, Penelitian Pengembangan DEVELOPMENT OF ACTIVE LEARNING MODEL TYPE READING GUIDE ASSISTED WITH MACROMEDIA FLASH IN LEARNING READING EXPOSITION TEXT FOR GRADE VIII MTS / SMP STUDENTS Abstract This development research was carried out to produce a reading type active learning model assisted by macromedia flash to improve students' reading comprehension skills. The active reading learning model consists of six phases, namely, conveying goals and motivating, presenting information, organizing students in groups, guiding group work and study, evaluation, and giving awards. This development research uses the 4D development model according to Thiagarajan. Product validation includes, namely (a) the feasibility of the model concept, (b) the initial design of the model, and (c) planning the development of the model, testing the properties of the data includes three ways namely normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. Product trials were carried out on five phases of the active learning model. Based on the results of validation, limited trials, and extensive trials, it can be concluded that the active learning model type reading guide assisted by macromedia flash is feasible to be applied in learning to read comprehension text exposition.
