Abstract

Penellitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya model pembelajaran membaca pemahaman di sekolah tingkat atas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis profil yang dilakukan di SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung kelas X sebagai sampel penelitian, minat dalam membaca cukup baik. Meskipun demikian, ternyata sebagian peserta didik memiliki kecenderungan kesulitan yang sama yakni kurangnya kemahiran peserta didik dalam memahami teks yang Panjang terutama teks nonfiksi. Hal ini dikarenakan peserta didik tidak mahir dalam menghubungkan teks yang mereka baca dengan pengetahuan yang mereka miliki sebelumnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: bagaimana profil pembelajaran membaca pemahaman di SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung; bagaimana rancangan Model Resiprocal Teaching Berbasis Skemata dalam Pembelajaran Membaca Pemahaman; bagaimana proses pengembangan Model Resiprocal Teaching Berbasis Skemata dalam Pembelajaran Membaca Pemahaman; dan bagaimana keterpakaian Model Resiprocal Teaching berbasis Skemata dalam Pembelajaran Membaca Pemahaman. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan uji kelayakan model menggunakan validasi dari 7 orang ahli menghasilkan rata-rata perolehan skor 80% pada tahap validasi pertama dan 100% pada validasi kedua. Keterpakaian model pembelajaran diperoleh berdasarkan angket respon guru, angket respon siswa terbuka dan angket tertutup. Angket guru dengan rata-rat menjawab setuju 40%, menjawab sangat setuju 40%, dan cukup setuju sebesar 20%. Angket terbuka dengan hasil responden memberikan respon cukup baik terhadap keterpakaian model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching berbasis skemata. Selain itu dari perolehan data angket tertutup 7,1% menjawab sangat setuju, 73% menjawab setuju, 16% menjawab cukup setuju , dan 3% menjawab kurang setuju. Data tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengembangan model pembelajaran pada pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa menengah atas. The background of this research is the lack of reading comprehension learning model in senior high school. The object research of this study is the tenth grade students according to the result of profile analyse in SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung that the students have adequate level in reading interest. Nevertheless, some students found out the difficulties in reading comprehension for the long texts especially in non-fiction text. That is cause of students could not connect the reading text with their knowledge. The purpose of this research is to know how is the students reading proficiency in SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung, how is the strategies of schematic based reciprocal teaching model in reading comprehension, how is the development of schematic based reciprocal teaching model in reading comprehension. The result of this research obtained around 80% in the first validation stage and 100% in the second validation. Those are based on the feasibility test by using validation test of 7 experts. The usability of the learning model is due to teacher response questionnaires, open and closed student response questionnaires. The results of the teacher’s questionnaire averagely agreed 40%, strongly agree with 40%, and quite agreed by 20%. The result of the open questionnaire has fairly good response through the use of the schemata-based reciprocal teaching learning model. In addition, the data collection of the closed questionnaire shows that 7.1% strongly agree, 73% agree, 16% quite agree, and 3% answered disagree. This data can be used as the material for the development of a learning model in reading comprehension learning of senior high school students
