Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh karena kurang sesuainya bahan ajar yang tersedia dengan kebutuhan pembelajar BIPA. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, bahan ajar BIPA yang telah tersedia pada level B1, khsusnya pada keterampilan menyimak, tidak membubuhkan kosa kata. Hal ini menyebabkan pembelajar asing tentunya merasa kesulitan memahami simakan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) bagaimana profil bahan ajar BIPA dalam pembelajaran menyimak; 2) bagaimanakah rancangan Bahan Ajar Menyimak Berbasis Teori Aktivitas dan Interkultural bagi Pembelajar BIPA; 3) bagaimana proses pengembangan Bahan Ajar Menyimak Berbasis Teori Aktivitas dan Interkultural bagi Pembelajar BIPA; dan 4) bagaimana keterpakaian Bahan Ajar Menyimak Berbasis Teori Aktivitas dan Interkultural bagi Pembelajar BIPA. Hasil dari penelitian yang didapat beradasarkan uji kelayakan model bahan ajar menggunakan validasi dari 7 orang ahli yang menghasilkan rata-rata perolehan skor 91% pada tahap validasi pertama dan 100% pada validasi kedua. Keterpakaian model bahan ajar didapatkan berdasarkan angket respon pengajar BIPA, angket terbuka, dan angket tertutup. Angket pengajar BIPA dengan rata-rata menjawab setuju 57%, sangat setuju 34, 2 %, dan cukup 9, 02%. Angket terbuka dengan hasil responden memberikan respon yang baik terhadap keterpakaian bahan ajar menyimak BIPA Berbasis Teori Aktivitas dan terkultural menurut responden. Selain itu, data didapat dari angket tertutup 78, 5% pembelajar BIPA menjawab setuju, 17, 04% sangat setuju, dan 4, 46% menjawab cukup. Data tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengembangan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran BIPA pada tingkat menengah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk bahan ajar menyimak bagi pembelajar BIPA pada tingkat B1 yang dapat dijadikan rujukan atau bahan pembelajaran BIPA di berbagai lembaga penyelenggara BIPA maupun mandiri. This research was motivated by the inadequacy of the teaching materials available with the needs of BIPA learners. Based on the results of the analysis, BIPA teaching materials that have been available at level B1, especially on listening skills, do not include vocabulary. This causes foreign learners, of course, find it difficult to understand the words in Indonesian. The purpose of this study was to see: 1) what is the profile of BIPA teaching materials in listening learning; 2) how to design Listening Teaching Materials Based on Activity and Intercultural Theory for BIPA Learners; 3) what is the process of developing Listening Teaching Materials Based on Activity and Intercultural Theory for BIPA Learners; and 4) how to use Listening Teaching Materials Based on Activity and Intercultural Theory for BIPA Learners. The results of the research obtained are based on the feasibility test of the teaching material model using the validation of 7 experts who produce an average score of 91% in the first validation stage and 100% in the second validation. The applicability of the teaching material model is based on the BIPA teacher response questionnaire, open questionnaire, and closed questionnaire. BIPA's pursuer questionnaire answered on average 57% agree, 34.2% strongly agree, and quite 9.22%. An open questionnaire with the results of the respondents gave a good response to the use of BIPA listening teaching materials based on activity theory and culture according to the respondent. In addition, the data obtained from a closed questionnaire was 78, 5% of BIPA students answered agree, 17, 04% strongly agreed, and 4, 46% answered fairly. This data can be used as material for the development of teaching materials in BIPA learning at the intermediate level. This research produces a listening teaching material product for BIPA learners at the B1 level which can be used as a reference or BIPA learning material at various BIPA organizers and independently.
