Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan yang diperlukan peserta didik agar mampu bertahan di abad 21 yaitu literasi saintifik. Pada literasi saintifik terdapat kompetensi literasi saintifik. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada lima sekolah di Kota Bandung mengungkapkan kompetensi literasi saintifik 628 peserta didik berada pada kategori rendah dalam seluruh aspek. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penyelidikan terkait desain pembelajaran yang melatihkan kompetensi literasi saintifik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan desain pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik berbasis reading infusion (RI) untuk melatihkan kompetensi literasi saintifik (KLS) siswa SMA pada materi pemanasan global. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan bagaimana bentuk desain pembelajaran serta bagaimana hasil respon akademik terhadap desain pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R & D). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar respon desain RPP, lembar respon RI, lembar respon LKPD dan soal KLS. Instrumen diberikan kepada dosen, guru dan diujicobakan kepada siswa untuk memperoleh kesesuaian dan kualitas dari desain tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesesuaian desain RPP “sangat sesuai”, kualitas RI dan LKPD “sangat baik”, serta soal KLS mendapatkan skor CVI dari respon akademik sebesar 0,967 dengan kategori “sangat sesuai”. Hasil uji validitas empiris menunjukkan 67% soal kompetensi literasi saintifik memiliki validitas antara rentang rendah hingga tinggi (0,2 – 0,8). Hasil uji reliabilitas memperoleh koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,94 dengan kategori “sangat tinggi”. One of the skills that students need in order to survive in the 21st century is scientific literacy. In scientific literacy, there is scientific literacy competence. Research conducted at five schools in the city of Bandung revealed 628 scientific literacy competencies of students were in the low category in all aspects. So it is necessary to carry out investigations related to learning designs that train scientific literacy competencies. The purpose of this study was to develop scientific approach based on reading infusion (RI) learning design to train high school students' scientific literacy competence (KLS) on global warming material. The formulation of the problem in this study is related to how the form of learning design is and how academic results are on learning design. The research method used is research and development (R&D). The research instruments used were response sheets of RPP design, response sheets of RI, response sheets of LKPD and KLS questions. The instruments are given to lecturers, teachers and tested on students to obtain the suitability and quality of the design. The results showed the suitability of the RPP design was "very suitable", the quality of RI and LKPD was "very good", and the KLS questions got CVI score from the academic response of 0.967 with the "very suitable" category. The results of the empirical validity test show that 67% of scientific literacy competency questions have validity ranging from low to high (0.2 - 0.8). The results of the reliability test obtained a reliability coefficient of 0.94 in the very high category.
