Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan Siswa kelas IVA SD Plus Ar-Rahmat tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dalam menceritakan kembali cerita fiksi. Dalam praktiknya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis konten (content analysis) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dimana teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi kepada 15 responden. Dengan memperhatikan temuan dan pembahasan, maka penelitian ini telah mampu membuktikan bahwa secara keseluruhan keterampilan siswa kelas IVA SD Plus Ar-Rahmat sudah memiliki keterampilan menceritakan kembali cerita fiksi yang cukup baik. Cukup baiknya keterampilan menceritakan kembali cerita fiksi tersebut ditunjukkan melalui aspek kosakata, tata bahasa, dan keakuratan isi. Analisis teori-teori dalam pembahasan memberikan informasi yang luas dan mendalam bahwa keterampilan siswa dalam menceritakan kembali cerita fiksi tidak terlepas dari pengaruh faktor internal siswa itu sendiri dan faktor eksternal dari guru dalam mengupayakannya melalui proses pembelajaran. Di samping harus memperhatikan kondisi psikologis dan tugas perkembangan belajar siswa, guru juga harus melakukan inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran melalui penerapan metode dan penggunaan media yang bervariasi dalam pembelajaran menceritakan kembali cerita fiksi agar keterampilan mereka dapat meningkat. ----- This study aims to describe the skills of class IVA SD Plus Ar-Rahmat students in the 2019/2020 academic year in retelling fictional stories. In practice, this study uses a content analysis method with a qualitative approach where the data collection techniques use interviews, tests, and documentation to 15 respondents. By paying attention to the findings and discussion, this study has been able to prove that overall the skills of class IVA SD Plus Ar-Rahmat students already have quite good skills to retell fiction stories. It is good enough that the skills to retell the fictional story are shown through the aspects of vocabulary, grammar, and content accuracy. The analysis of the theories in the discussion provides broad and in-depth information that students' skills in retelling fictional stories cannot be separated from the influence of internal factors of students themselves and external factors of teachers in pursuing it through the learning process. Besides having to pay attention to the psychological conditions and tasks of student learning development, teachers must also carry out learning innovations through the application of various methods and use of media in learning to retell fictional stories so that their skills can be improved.
