Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan bahwa pada saat pembelajaran seni khususnya menggambar, kemampuan literasi visual siswa masih rendah karena terlihat saat di lapangan ketika guru memberi tugas menggambar pada siswa, guru menentukan siswa harus menggambar yang guru tentukan, pada saat itu siswa ditugaskan untuk menggambar gunung, padahal pada prinsipnya anak bisa menggambar secara bebas sesuai dengan ide dan pengalaman batin yang pernah mereka rasakan. Setelah anak menyelesaikan tugasnya, tugas hanya di kumpulkan saja tanpa ada tindak lanjut yang diberikan guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penangkapan objek gambar sebagai literasi visual siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan desain kualitatif. Objek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cijujung 01. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar kuisioner terbuka berupa pertanyaan dan lembar indikator literasi visual. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis yang dilakukan, kemampuan literasi visual siswa terkait penangkatan objek gambar sudah terlihat dan terdapat beberapa siswa yang sudah sesuai dengan indikator dari literasi visual. ----- This research is motivated by the problem that at the time of learning art, especially drawing, students' visual literacy skills are still low because it can be seen in the field when the teacher gives drawing assignments to students, the teacher determines the student should draw what the teacher determines, at that time the students are assigned to draw mountains, even though in principle, children can draw freely according to the inner ideas and experiences they have ever felt. After the child completes the assignment, the assignment is only collected without any follow-up given by the teacher. The aim of this study is to determine the capture of the object image as student visual literacy. The research method used was descriptive analysis method with a qualitative design. The object of research in this study were fourth grade students of SDN Cijujung 01. The instrument used in this study was an open questionnaire in the form of questions and a visual literacy indicator sheet. Based on the results of the research and analysis carried out, students' visual literacy skills related to the appointment of image objects have been seen and there are some students who are in accordance with the indicators of visual literacy.
