Abstract

Globalisasi dan modernisasi yang terjadi saat ini memberikan dampak serta perubahan yang terjadi pada masyarakat sehingga membawa masyarakat Indonesia melupakan karakter bangsa. Padahal, karakter merupakan suatu pondasi bangsa yang sangat penting dan perlu ditanamkan sejak dini. Salah satu solusi alternatif untuk menghadapi dampak negatif globalisasi adalah dengan mengadakan pendidikan karakter anak bangsa secara menyeluruh. Penanaman nilai-nilai karakter melalui pendidikan karakter diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan siswa sehingga kelak mereka bisa menjadi manusia yang bertakwa, berilmu, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, dan bertanggung jawab. Buku teks merupakan salah satu sarana pendukung dalam rangka mengembangkan karakter siswa. Salah satu materi ajar yang terdapat dalam buku tematik kurikulum 2013 adalah teks percakapan. Di dalam teks percakapan terkandung nilai-nilai karakter, sehingga hal tersebut menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung pada teks percakapan dalam Buku Tematik Siswa Kelas I Tema 6 Lingkungan Bersih, Sehat dan Asri dan menganalisis kesesuaian sub nilai karakter dengan tema lingkungan bersih sehat dan asri pada Buku Tematik Buku Tematik Siswa Kelas I. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat pada teks percakapan pada Buku Tematik Siswa Kelas I Tema 6. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian daya dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai yang muncul pada kalimat teks percakapan Buku Tematik Siswa Kelas I Tema 6 Lingkungan Bersih, Sehat dan Asri yaitu: religius, integritas, mandiri, dan gotong royong. Serta sub nilai yang paling sering muncul pada teks percakapan dalam buku adalah cinta lingkungan, kesantunan, kerja sama dan bersih. Implikasi untuk penelitian ini adalah dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai referensi materi tentang pendidikan karakter khususnya di Sekolah Dasar. ----- The current globalization and modernization have had an impact and changes that have occurred in society, thus leading the Indonesian people to forget the character of the nation. In fact, character is a very important nation foundation and needs to be instilled from an early age. One of the alternative solutions to deal with the negative impacts of globalization is to provide a comprehensive character education for the nation's children. The inculcation of character values through character education is expected to develop students' abilities so that later they can become human beings who are cautious, knowledgeable, creative, independent, democratic, and responsible. Textbooks are one of the supporting tools in developing student character. One of the teaching materials contained in the 2013 curriculum thematic book is conversational text. In the conversational text, character values are contained, so it is interesting to study. This study aims to analyze the character values contained in the conversational text in the Thematic Book of 1st grade Students 6th Theme, Healthy and Beautiful Environment and to analyze the suitability of character sub-values with the theme of clean, healthy and beautiful environment in the Thematic Book of 1st grade Students. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. The data collected were character values contained in the conversational text in the Thematic Book of 1st grade 6th Themes. Data collection techniques used documentation study. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, power presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate the values that appear in the conversation text sentences of 1st grade Thematic Book Students 6th Theme Clean, Healthy and Beautiful Environment, namely: religious, integrity, independence, and mutual cooperation. As well as the sub-values that most often appear in conversational texts in books are love for the environment, politeness, cooperation and cleanliness. The implication for this research is that it can be used as a reference material about character education, especially in elementary schools.
