Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam bidang pendidikan guna mengembangkan sumber daya manusia kreatif yang salah satunya dapat diwujudkan melalui kegiatan menulis cerita pendek, namun pada kegiatannya siswa seringkali mengalami kesulitan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam teks cerita pendek karya siswa kelas V SDN Nagrog serta kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa ketika menulis kreatif teks cerita pendek. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis yang dipilih yaitu analisis konten. Sumber data penelitian yang dianalisis yaitu teks cerita pendek karya siswa kelas V SDN Nagrog yang berjumlah 10 teks serta hasil wawancara mengenai kegiatan menulis teks cerita pendek. Indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang digunakan yaitu kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian dan kerincian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas V SDN Nagrog pada indikator kelancaran mencapai tingkat sangat lancar, keluwesan mencapai tingkat cukup luwes, keaslian mencapai tingkat cukup asli dan kerincian mencapai tingkat sangat rinci sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa kreatif. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada guru yaitu pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek sebaiknya menggunakan media pembelajaran yang variatif serta guru seharusnya membimbing dan mengarahkan siswa yang merasa kesulitan ketika menulis cerita pendek, kepada sekolah yaitu dengan menyediakan cerita pendek dalam berbagai bentuk (baik teks ataupun video) yang dapat digunakan guru maupun siswa dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya yaitu untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif melalui media lain serta dapat menganalisis teks cerita pendek berdasarkan kemampuan berpikir tinggi lainnya. ----- The background of this research is the importance of the ability to think creatively in the field of education in order to develop creative human resources, one of which can be realized through writing short stories, but in activities students often experience difficulties. This research was conducted to identify the ability to think creatively in short story texts written by the fifth grade students of SDN Nagrog and the difficulties faced by students when writing creative short story texts. The research method applied is a qualitative method with the chosen analysis technique, namely content analysis. The research data sources analyzed were 10 short story texts written by SDN Nagrog students and the results of interviews regarding writing short story texts. Indicators of creative thinking abilities used are fluency, flexibility, authenticity and detail. The results showed that the creative thinking ability of the fifth grade students of SDN Nagrog on the indicators of fluency reached a very smooth level, flexibility reached a sufficiently flexible level, authenticity reached a sufficiently original level and detail reached a very detailed level so that it could be said that students were creative. This study provides recommendations to the teacher, namely learning to write short stories should use varied learning media and teachers should guide and direct students who find it difficult to write short stories to schools, namely by providing short stories in various forms (either text or video) that can be used by teachers and students and for further researchers, namely to analyze the ability to think creatively through other media and to be able to analyze short story texts based on other abilities.
