Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media audio visual untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kegiatan ekonomi di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Media audio visual ini dikembangkan melalui metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model Analyze Design Development Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE). Model ADDIE memiliki 5 Tahapan yaitu (1)Analyze, menganalisis kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Ditemukan permasalahan terkait kurangnya pemahaman konsep kegiatan ekonomi dikarenakan masih jarangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran materi kegiatan ekonomi di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Melakukan studi literatur terkait media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep. Media audio visual dapat digunakan sebagai sarana dalam pembelajaran untuk pembelajaran kegiatan ekonomi di kelas V SD. (2) Desain, membuat desain dan menyusun bahan-bahan untuk membuat media audio visual seperti membuat rekaman narasi, membuat animasi grafis, dan membuat gambar ilustrasi. (3) Development, mengembangkan bahan-bahan yang telah dibuat dan menggabungkannya menjadi satu media pembelajaran audio visual kegiatan ekonomi. (4) Evaluation, penilaian dan validasi dan para ahli, validasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media audio visual. Persentase dari hasil validasi yaitu 90% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil wawancara menunjukan tanggapan positif dari siswa terhapat media audio visual. Kemudia dalam penelitian ini juga dipaparkan apa saja yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran audio visual. Dalam berbagai kajian literatur yang telah dilakukan peneliti membuktikan bahwa media pembelajaran audio visaul dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kegiatan ekonomi siswa. This research study is conducted to develop audio-visual media thus it can improve the understanding of economic activity concept in 5th-grade elementary school. This audio-visual media was developed through the Design and Development (D&D) method with the Analyze Design Development Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The ADDIE model has 5 phases. (1) Analyze; analyzing the learning activities in the class. The problem found in this stage is the lack of understanding of the economic activity concept due to the rare use of instructional media in learning material for economic activities in 5th-grade elementary school. Therefore, conducting the literature studies related to the learning media is expected to improve the student’s understanding. (2) Design; making designs and compiling the material to create audio-visual media such as narrative recordings, animated graphics, and illustration images. (3) Development; developing materials that have been made and combining into one audio-visual learning media of economic activities. (4) Evaluation; assessing and validating from the expert which aims to determine the feasibility of audio-visual media. The percentage of validation results is 90% with an excellent category. Furthermore, the interview result showed a positive response from students regarding the audio-visual media. This research study also presents the things that need to be improved in audio-visual learning media development. To conclude, the literature reviews that have been conducted shows that audio-visual learning media can enhance the understanding of the student about the economic activity concept.
