Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah pentingnya bahan ajar yang dapat membentuk karakter nasionalisme siswa di kelas 3 SD. Di era globalisasi ini dapat menyebabkan perubahan perilaku nilai atau norma yang tidak berpegang teguh pada pedoman bangsa Indonesia. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan isi buku siswa dan menganalisis muatan karakter nasionalisme yang terdapat pada buku siswa kelas 3 SD Tema 7. Penanaman karakter nasionalisme salah satu dari Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) sebagai poros pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Peran penting buku siswa adalah sebagai bahan acuan yang digunakan oleh siswa dalam pelaksaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian analisis isi. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu buku siswa kelas 3 SD Tema 7. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah human instrument, yaitu peneliti sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan isi buku siswa masuk kedalam kriteria layak dengan kriteria pada dimensi spiritual masuk kedalam kriteria tidak layak, kelayakan pada dimensi sosial masuk kedalam kriteria sangat layak, kelayakan pada dimensi pengetahuan masuk kedalam kriteria layak, dan kelayakan pada dimensi keterampilan masuk kedalam kriteria layak. Sedangkan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan muatan karakter nasionalisme masuk kedalam kriteria kurang layak, yang dikatakan layak yaitu indikator bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia dan menerima kemajemukan. Indikator nasionalisme yang dikatakan kurang layak yaitu rela berkorban demi bangsa dan bangga pada budaya yang beraneka ragam. Sedangkan indikator yang dikatakan tidak layak yaitu cinta tanah air dan bangsa, menghargai jasa para pahlawan dan mengutamakan kepentingan umum. Hal ini berarti indikator dari karakter nasionalisme pada buku siswa kelas 3 SD masih kurang layak karena sebaran indikator dalam materi pembelajaran masih kurang merata. ----- This research is underlain by the important problem of teaching material that could build nationalism character of the 3rd grade elementary students. In addition, the globalization era might the changes of values or norms of behavior that do not observe the principle of Indonesian. Thus, this research is aimed to describe the feasibility of the book content and to analyze the characterization content of nationalism in the 3rd grade student book theme 7. The implementation of nationalism character is one of Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) as the central of education that has been established by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The significant role of student book is as the main source used by the students in learning practice. This research use qualitative methods and content analysis research design. The source of data used is the 3rd grade student book theme 7. The instrument used in this research is human instrument i.e. the researcher itself. The result of this research showed that the feasibility of the book content is categorized as feasible based on the spiritual dimension as not feasible, feasibility based on the social dimension as very decent, feasibility based on the knowledge dimension as feasible, and feasibility based on the skill dimension as feasible. While the results of the study which showed the contents of the character of nationalism included in the criteria of being unfeasible, what was said to be a worthy criterion was an indicator of being proud as an Indonesian nation and accepting differences. The indicator of nationalism that is said to be inappropriate is willing to sacrifice for the nation and be proud of a diverse culture. While indicators that are said to be unworthy are love for the motherland and the nation, respecting the services of heroes and prioritizing the public interest. This result indicated that the indicators of the nationalism character in the 3rd grade student book theme 7 still unfeasible because the distribution of indicators in learning materials is less distributed.
