Abstract

ABSTRAK LEARNING OBSTACLES SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR PADA KONSEP PERJUMLAHAN PECAHAN Oleh Hanifah Wahyuningtias 1606376 Makna konsep perjumlahan pecahan dikonstruksi oleh siswa melalui berbagai proses yang sangat berkaitan dengan pengalaman siswa dalam memperoleh pembelajaran. Namun pada kenyataanya, pemaknaan siswa ini belum sepenuhnya menjamin pemahaman konsep perjumlahan pecahan yang baik pada siswa. Penelitian ini ber-tujuan untuk menelusuri kemungkinan adanya hambatan belajar atau learning obstacles pada konsep perjumlahan pecahan yang dimiliki siswa dan dikaitkan dengan pengalaman siswa dalam memperoleh makna konsep perjumlahan pecahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi hermeneutik, yang melibatkan siswa SD kelas IV. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, peneliti menggunakan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen yaitu sebuah tes tertulis kepada siswa dan wawancara pendalaman kepada setiap partisipan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif yang secara umum mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis temuan dan pembahasan pada penelitian ini, terungkap bahwa adanya inkosistensi dan ambiguitas makna konsep perjumlahan pecahan, pengalaman pemaknaan siswa pada konsep perjumlahan pecahan menunjukan adanya kecenderungan bahwa siswa memperoleh makna konsep perjumlahan pecahan bersumber dari apa yang telah diajarkan guru dan yang telah dipelajari dalam buku. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum terdapat learning obstacles pada konsep perjumlahan pecahan yang meliputi ontogenic obstacles, epistemological obstacles dan didactical obstacles. Learning obstacles pada konsep perjumlahan pecahan ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan untuk kemudian mengembangkan sebuah desain pembelajaran yang tepat terkait konsep perjumlahan pecahan. Kata kunci: Learning obstacle; konsep perjumlahan pecahan; fenomenologi her-meneutik ABSTRACT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT’S LEARNING OBSTACLES OF FOURTH GRADE ON THE FRACTIONS SUMMATION’S CONCEPT By Hanifah Wahyuningtias 1606376 The meaning of the concept of the sum of fractions is constructed by the students through a variety of processes that are very related to the experience of students in obtaining learning. But in reality, meaning the student is not yet fully ensure the understanding of the concept of the sum of fractions which both the students. This research aims to explore the possibility of existence of barriers to learning or learning obstacles on the concept of the sum of fractions which is owned by the students and is associated with the experience of students in obtaining the meaning of the concept of the sum of fractions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a hermeneutic phenomenology approach, which involves elementary school students in grade IV. To achieve the purpose of the study researchers used the data is done by using an instrument that is a test written for students and interviews depth to each participant. Analysis of the data is done by descriptive that is common to reduce the data, presenting data and draw conclusions. Based on the analysis of the findings and discussion in the research of this , it was revealed that the inconsistencies and ambiguity of the meaning of the concept of the sum of fractions , experience the meaning of the students on the concept of the sum of fractions showed the tendency that students acquire the meaning of the concept of the sum of fractions derived from what that has taught teacher and has studied in books . By because it can be concluded that in general there is a learning obstacles on the concept of the sum of fractions which includes ontogenic obstacles, obstacles epistemological and didactical obstacles. Learning obstacles on the concept of the sum of fractions it may be a consideration to then develop a design study that right related concept of the sum of fractions.
