Abstract
Kemampuan literasi merupakan sumber pengetahuan yang mempengaruhi perkembangan sosial, emosi dan kognitifnya. Metode cantol roudhoh merupakan teknik menghafal suku kata dengan sistem cantol yang disampaikan melalui bercerita, bernyanyi dan bermain, dikembangkan dalam quantum learning, menggunakan alat peraga khusus. Terdapat 3 hal yang melatarbelakangi anjuran mempelajari literasi sejak dini yaitu mengarahkan perkembangan otak anak, mengoptimalkan masa golden age dan tuntutan orangtua juga SD yang mengharuskan kelas rendah mampu membaca. Anak dapat membaca sebuah kata ketika berusia 1 tahun, sebuah kalimat ketika usia 2 tahun dan sebuah buku ketika usia 3 tahun. Melalui metode ini anak usia dini dapat dikembangkan kemampuan literasinya terutama dalam membaca dan menulis, sehingga anak siap melanjutkan pendidikan lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 3 orang anak perempuan, orangtua anak dan guru di kelompok B TK Roudhoh Kota Serang. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode cantol roudhoh berperan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasi anak usia dini, anak telah mampu membaca kosa kata dan kalimat dengan lancer. Hal ini terjadi berdasarkan prinsip memaksimalkan kemampuan otak untuk menyerap informasi dan sistem menghafal cepat melalui modalitas visual, auditorial dan kinestetik. Literacy is a source of knowledge that influences social, emotional and cognitive development. The roudhoh cantol method is a technique for memorizing syllables with the cantol system which is conveyed through storytelling, singing and playing, developed in quantum learning, using special teaching aids. There are 3 things that become the background of the study of literacy from an early age, namely directing the development of a child's brain, optimizing the age of golden age and the demands of parents as well as elementary school which requires low classes to be able to read. Children can read a word when they are 1 year old, a sentence when they are 2 years old and a book when they are 3 years old. Through this method early childhood can develop literacy skills, especially in reading and writing, so that children are ready to continue higher education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects consisted of 3 girls, parents of children and teachers in group B Roudhoh City, Serang. The techniques used to collect data are observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the cantol roudhoh method played a role in developing the literacy ability of early childhood, the child was able to read vocabulary and sentences fluently. This happens based on the principle of maximizing the brain's ability to absorb information and memorize the system quickly through visual, auditory and kinesthetic modalities.
