Abstract
Gramatika Bahasa merupakan dasar, acuan dan tolak ukur dalam pembelajaran berbahasa. Maka dari itu sangatlah penting bagi siswa untuk memahami gramatika dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Metode Cooperative Learning tipe Snowball Throwing merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan dalam mempelajari gramatika bahasa Arab. tujuan penggunaaan Metode Cooperative Learning tipe Snowball Throwing mampu meningkatkan pemahaman gramatika bahasa Arab siswa. Metode Cooperative Learning tipe Snowball Throwing dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam memahami gramatika bahasa arab sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan Metode Snowball Throwing serta untuk menemukan ada atau tidaknya efektivitas dari penggunaan Metode Snowball Throwing terhadap pemahaman gramatika bahasa Arab siswa. Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif serta menggunakan teknik kuasi eksperimen dan menggunakan desain penelitian Nonequivalent control group design, Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Inayah kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket. Langkah awal adalah pemberian pretest kepada dua kelompok tersebut untuk mengetahui kompetensi awal. Selanjutnya kelas eksperimen diberikan treatment berupa penggunaan Metode Cooperative Learning tipe Snowball Throwing. Dan terakhir diberikan post-test kepada kedua kelompok tersebut. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukan bahwa selisih nilai pretest-posttest pada kelas eksperimen yaitu, pretest (32,57) dan posttest (75,71), dan terjadi peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar (43,14). Selisih nilai pretest-posttest pada kelas kontrol yaitu, pretest (34,71) dan posttest (46,71), terjadi peningkatan pada kelas kontrol sebesar (12,00). Berarti terjadi peningkatan yang sangat besar atau melonjak pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Metode Cooperative Learning tipe Snowball Throwing. Hal ini menunjukankan ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara pemahaman gramatika bahasa Arab siswa dengan menggunakan metode tersebut. Karena datanya tidak berdistribusi normal, maka analisis data yang penulis pakai menggunakan non parametrik yaitu Uji Wilcoxon. Dari hasil penghitungan tersebut, maka diketahui nilai Whitung (116,94) < Wtabel (107) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis Ha diterima, yaitu Metode Cooperative Learning tipe Snowball Throwing efektif dalam pembelajaran pemahaman gramatika bahasa Arab. Grammar language is the foundation, a reference and a benchmark in language learning. Therefore it is important for students to understand grammar in language learning. Cooperative Learning methods Snowball Throwing type is one method that can be used in studying Arabic grammar. Cooperative Learning methods Throwing Snowball types in this study aims to determine the students' ability to understand the grammar of the Arabic language before and after use and Throwing Snowball method to find whether or not the effectiveness of the use of Snowball Throwing Method to the understanding of the grammar of Arabic language students. Descriptive methods with quantitative approaches and techniques and quasi-experimental research design using a control group design Nonequivalent. The sample was junior secondary school students of class VIII Al-Inayah D as an experimental class VIII and class B as the control class. Instrument used was a test and questionnaire. The initial step is giving the pretest to the two groups to determine the initial competency. Further experimental class was given treatment in the form of use of Cooperative Learning Method of Snowball Throwing type. And the latter was given a post-test to both groups. Results of data analysis showed that the difference between the pretest-posttest experimental class ie, pretest (32.57) and posttest (75.71), and an increase in the experimental class of (43.14). Pretest-posttest difference in value in the control class, pretest (34.71) and posttest (46.71), an increase in the control class is (12,00). This shows there are significant differences between students' understanding of grammar of the Arabic language using the method. Because the data are not normally distributed, the authors use data analysis using non-parametric Wilcoxon test. From the results of these calculations, it is known Whitung value (116.94) >Wtabel (107) with a significance level of 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis Ha is accepted, ie the type of Cooperative Learning Methods Throwing Snowball effective in learning Arabic grammar comprehension.
