Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh era digital yang umumnya menyentuh berbagai aspek kehidupan serta lapisan masyarakat, secara khusus dalam dunia kesusastraan Indonesia. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) telah mendukung kegiatan berbasis digital. Hal itu mengakibatkan persentuhan sastra dan teknologi. Salah satunya puisi yang terdapat di cyber sastra. Dengan demikian, bidang kesusastraan memanfaatkan ruang teknologi yang tercipta. Seiring dengan perkembangan IPTEK, puisi pun turut mengalami perkembangan yang dinamis. Perkembangan ini dapat diamati dari kemunculan produk karya sastra di ruang cyber, yaitu puisi bergaya haiku Indonesia. Media cyber ini berdampingan dan melekat dengan generasi milenial yang notabene tidak terlepas dari aktivitas digital. Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti, keberadaan puisi haiku bergaya Indonesia dengan puisi haiku di Jepang memiliki perbedaan. Perbedaan tersebut terlihat dari hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan tema, struktur formula haiku dan makna. Dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menemukan data-data yang menujukkan keberadaan puisi haiku di cyber sastra. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil penelitian yang menujukkan bahwa generasi milenial cenderung menullis puisi haiku dengan konsep, tema, dan bentuk yang berbeda dari puisi haiku di Jepang dan kecenderungan gaya puisi yang ditulis merujuk pada penulisan puisi haiku Masaoka Shiki. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada pemanfaatan media cyber khususnya Instagram yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Adapun proses analisis dilakukan dengan penerapan formula struktur haiku dan semiotika pada teks puisi. Kata kunci: puisi haiku, semiotik, cyber sastra ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to reach out to various aspects of life and levels of society in the digital era. Recently, the development of science and technology has supported the digital-based activities, particularly in the world of Indonesian literature. This causes cohesion between literature and technology. Thus, the field of literature exploits the expansion of technology. In addition to the development of science and technology, poetry also undergoes dynamic developments. This development can be observed from the emergence of literary products in cyberspace, namely Indonesian haiku-style poetry. Cybermedia is coexistence and associated with the millennial generation who cannot be separated from digital activities. Based on the observation, the existence of Indonesian haiku-style poetry and Japanese haiku poetry has some distinctions. The distictions can be seen from the results of research that reveal the theme, structure of the haiku formula, and meaning. The data collection used in this research was qualitative descriptive method which supports the existence of haiku poetry in cyber literature. The result indicated that the millennial generation tends to write haiku poetry with different concepts, themes, and forms compared to haiku poetry in Japan. The result also shows that the millennial's poetry writing style refers to the writing of Masaoka Shiki's haiku poetry. Therefore, this study focused on the use of cyber media, particularly Instagram, which is relevant to the research topic. The analysis process is carried out by applying the haiku and semiotic structural formulas to the poetry text. Keywords: haiku poetry, semiotic, cyber literature
