Abstract
Kata kunci : kelekatan orang tua, kemandirian Parent attachment to children is one of the first steps in the development and socialization process. Parents with safe attachment will make children feel comfortable, have the ability to interact, have good self-sufficient, and prominent social abilities so that the child will become an independent person and not dependent on his parents. However, based on the results of the researcher's preliminary study at TK Artha Kencana, there are children who are always accompanied by their mother so that the mother has to enter the classroom. Even though problems can make children less self-sufficient and always depend on their mother. This study formulates 3 problems, namely 1) what is the parental attachment pattern in Group A TK Artha Kencana?, 2) How is the independence of children in Group A TK Artha Kencana?, 3) Is there an effect between parental attachment on children's independence at TK Artha Kencana? ? The approach taken in this research is qualitative with the case study method. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The research results were obtained from questionnaires and interviews. Based on these results, it was found that AI had an evasive attachment pattern and RR had a safe attachment pattern. These results were obtained from a larger RR questionnaire score and also interviews with class teachers. RR independence is much more self-sufficient than AI so that parental attachment has a very positive impact on children's self-sufficient. Keywords : parental attachment, self-sufficient
