Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja guru SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga variabel yaitu Motivasi Kerja, Kompensasi, dan Kinerja Guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat motivasi kerja, kompensasi, dan kinerja guru. Selain itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 59 responden. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah guru Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi ganda.
Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian didapatkan gambaran motivasi kerja berada pada kategori sedang, gambaran kompensasi berada pada kategori sedang, dan gambaran kinerja guru berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa motivasi kerja dan kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru secara simultan dan signifikan.

This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. The problem examined in this study is the low performance of teachers in SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. This study consists of three variables, namely Work Motivation, Compensation, and Teacher Performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of work motivation, compensation, and teacher performance. Besides, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivation and compensation on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Bandung.
This study uses a survey method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The population in this study was 59 respondents. Respondents in this study were civil servant teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression.
Based on the analysis of the results of the study, it is found that the description of work motivation is in the medium category, the description of compensation is in the medium category, and the description of teacher performance is in the medium category. Hypothesis test results obtained that work motivation and compensation affect teacher performance simultaneously and significantly.
