    Abstract

    This research is motivated by the presence of an implicit meaning in startup company advertisements. A startup company, namely the Traveloka company, whose ads are displayed on the Traveloka YouTube channel. The utterances in the advertisements on the Traveloka application have the type, function, purpose and purpose of advertising their broadcasts in the form of speech videos. The advertisement on the Traveloka application on the YouTube channel has also been watched by 1.9 million YouTube users. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining the speech data using pragmatic studies. This research uses speech act theory and implicature. The focus of the study is in speech act theory, namely the type of illocutionary speech act and in implicature theory, namely the type of conventional implicature. The research method is descriptive qualitative with note-taking, recording, and documentation techniques. The objectives of this research are 1) to describe the utterances that are spoken in the Traveloka application advertisement on the Traveloka youtube channel; 2) describe the type and form of speech 3) describe the type and function of implicatures; 4) describe the speaker's response to the speech in the Traveloka application advertisement on the Traveloka youtube channel. The results of this study found 55 speech data. If classified, there are 21 narrator utterances with illocutionary speech acts. The forms of speech acts are assertive, directive, and expressive. Then 21 types of conventional implicatures. The functions of expressing, praising, recommending, suggesting, praising, complaining, thanking, happy, asking, and advising. Furthermore, there are 34 data on speech partners with conventional implicature types. Then, the implicature function, namely, the implicature function is classified into seven (7) namely thanking, praising, stating, suggesting, recommending, complaining, and praying. On that basis, speakers have succeeded in achieving their goal of influencing speech partners.
