Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi atas kurangnya stimulus yang diberikan oleh guru ataupun orang tua untuk mengembangkan karakter anak usia dini, terutama pada sikap tanggung jawab. Hal tersebut bertujuan agar anak dapat melaksanakan kewajibannya dan menyelesaikan tugas baik dalam proses pembelajaran ataupun di lingkungan sekitar yang harus dilakukan terhadap diri sendiri, masyarakat, lingkungan, negara dan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Dari permasalahan tersebut salah satu upaya efektif untuk mengembangkan sikap tanggung jawab pada anak dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran STEAM Project Based Learning yang bertujuan 1) memaparkan proses penerapan STEAM Project Based Learning untuk mengembangkan sikap tanggung jawab anak usia dini dan 2) menjelaskan hasil perkembangan sikap tanggung jawab anak sebelum dan ketika penerapan STEAM PjBL. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan desain penelitian concurrent embedded. Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh, sikap tanggung jawab anak mengalami peningkatan pada setiap proyeknya, model pembelajaran STEAM PjBL secara efektif dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan sikap tanggung jawab anak usia dini. This research is motivated by the lack of stimulus provided by teachers or parents to develop early childhood character, especially in the attitude of responsibility. It is intended that children can carry out their obligations and complete tasks both in the learning process or in the environment that must be done for themselves, society, the environment, the country and God Almighty. From these problems, one of the effective efforts to develop a responsible attitude towards children is by applying the STEAM Project Based Learning learning model which aims to 1) describe the process of implementing STEAM Project Based Learning to develop an attitude of responsibility for early childhood and 2) explain the results of the development of responsible attitudes. children before and during the implementation of STEAM PjBL. The method used is mixed methods with concurrent embedded research design. The results of the research obtained show that children's responsibility attitudes have increased in each project. The PjBL STEAM learning model can effectively be used in developing an attitude of responsibility for early childhood.
