    Abstract

    Pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan prosedural adalah aspek kecakapan matematis yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketercapaian pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan prosedural siswa pada materi bangun datar kelas IV. Ditemukan dua faktor penghambat pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan prosedural, yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah 6 orang siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupa tes tertulis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sebanyak 63,1% dan kemampuan prosedural 69,4% ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan prosedural siswa lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Siswa dianjurkan membiasakan diri untuk mengerjakan soal-soal yang berhubungan dengan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan cara belajar yang lebih optimal guna meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa.

    Conceptual understanding and procedural abilities are aspects of mathematical proficiency that must be mastered by students in learning mathematics. This study aims to analyze the achievement of students' conceptual understanding and procedural abilities in the fourth grade flat shape material. Two factors inhibiting conceptual understanding and procedural abilities were found, namely internal and external factors. The subjects of this study were 6 students of fourth grade. The data collection technique was done in the form of a written test. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the students' conceptual understanding was 63.1% and the procedural abilities of 69.4% showed that the students' procedural abilities were higher than the students' conceptual understanding. Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with working on problems related to learning and improve learning methods that are more optimal in order to increase students' interest in learning mathematics.
