Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik di Sekolah Dasar diperkirakan belum baik dilaksanakan, karena pembelajaran tematik tidak hanya mengasah pengetahuan dan karakter saja, namun harus diikuti dengan mengasah keterampilan siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dan keterampilan komunikasi verbal dan non verbal siswa setelah mengimplementasikan model Think Talk Write dalam pembelajaran. Alasan dilaksanakan penelitian ini karena komunikasi antar siswa saat berdiskusi cukup rendah sehingga berdampak pula pada hasil belajar yang juga rendah, untuk melatih keterampilan komunikasi verbal maupun non verbal siswa agar siswa dapat berperan aktif saat berdiskusi, maka alternatif penyelesaian permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Think Talk Write. Model ini mampu membangun pemahaman melalui berpikir, berbicara dan menulis sehingga siswa akan mampu berpikir sistematis dan mampu mengungkapkan apa yang dipikirkan dan dituliskan dalam bentuk komunikasi verbal maupun nonverbal. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan berbentuk siklus dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian yang dilaksanakan melalui pembelajaran online selama tiga siklus, hasil belajar dan keterampilan komunikasi pada siswa kelas IV mengalami peningkatan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh mencapai KKM yang telah ditentukan yaitu 70, pada siklus I memperoleh hasil 55%, pada siklus II memperoleh 65%, dan pada siklus III sebesar 85%. Selain itu, keterampilan komunikasi verbal maupun non verbal mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada siklus I tidak ada yang masuk dalam kategori baik, pada siklus II terdapat 30% siswa yang masuk dalam kategori baik, dan pada siklus III terdapat 50% siswa termasuk kategori baik. Thematic learning in Elemantary School is not expected to be well done, because thematic learning not just honing knowladge and character only, but should be followed by skills as well. The purpose of this research is for knowing learnig outcome and communication verbal and communication non verbal skills of students after the implementation of think talk write model in learning. The reason of this research is because of the communication between the students discussion is still low then get impacted for the learning outcome, for train the students skills of verbal and non verbal communication to improve their discussion activities, and for that the solution is by giving the implement of Think Talk Write model in Learning. This model can built the understanding through the thinking, talk, and write so the students can thingking properly and also communication. The design of this research is use the cycle with planing, acting, observing, and reflecting. Based on the results of this research within the three cycle, from the online learning outcome and communication skills of the students of class IV . It has be seen from the learning outcome of the students that reached out the KKM which has been determined at 70, on the first cycle has increasing the result 55%, on the second cycle has increasing the result 65%, and on the third cycle has increasing the result 85%. Furthermore, communication verbal dannon verbal skills be through enhancement it’s on first cycle no one is in the good category, on the second cycle be found 30% student is in the good category, and on the third cycle be found 50% student is in the good category.
