Abstract

ABSTRAK PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Pokok Bahasan Tema 7 Subtema 2 Peristiwa Kebangsaan Seputar Proklamasi Kemerdekaan, di Kelas V SD, Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020) Hanif Fathurochman Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Keterampilan berbicara siswa berpengaruh pada hasil pembelajaran. Hal ini membuat siswa harus bisa berbicara dengan lafal, intonasi, dan ekspresi yang tepat, model pembelajaran yang cocok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara adalah metode Role Playing. Tujuan akhir penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa dengan menggunakan model Role Playing, Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan sikap yang positif pada siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil setiap siklus yang mengalami peningkatan yang positif. Pada pra siklus aktivitas belajar siswa hanya mencapai 50% sedangkan pada siklus I menjadi 65%, dan siklus II 80%. Lalu kemampuan berbicara siswa pun mengalami kenaikan di setiap siklusnya, pada prasiklus nilai rata- rata siswa 61,14. siklus I 67,14. sedangkan siklus III 76,33. Jadi secara umum hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, penerapan metode Role Playing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Kata Kunci: Role Playing, Keterampilan Berbicara. ABSTRACT APPLICATION OF ROLE PLAYING LEARNING MODELS TO IMPROVE SPEAKING ABILITY IN BASIC SCHOOL STUDENTS 'THEMATIC LEARNING (Classroom Action Research, Subject Theme 7 Sub-theme 2 National Events Regarding the Proclamation of Independence, in Class V SD, Academic Year 2019/2020) Hanif Fathurochman Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Indonesian Education University Students' speaking skills have an effect on learning outcomes. This makes students have to be able to speak with proper pronunciation, intonation, and expressions. The suitable learning model for improving speaking skills is the Role Playing method. The final objective of this research is to improve the students' speaking ability using the Role Playing model. The results of this study indicate a positive attitude towards students. This can be seen from the results of each cycle which experienced a positive increase. In the pre-cycle student learning activities only reached 50%, while in cycle I it became 65%, and cycle II was 80%. Then the students 'speaking ability also increased in each cycle, in pre-cycle the students' average score was 61.14. cycle I 67.14. while cycle III 76.33. So in general the results of the study can be concluded that the application of the Role Playing method can improve students' speaking skills. Keywords: Role Playing, Speaking Skills.
