Abstract

ABSTRAK Syifa Nuraeni Kartika. (1601733). Analisis Teoritis Proses Kognitif Pemahaman Matematis Siswa pada Materi BRSD Prisma dengan Pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses kognitif pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar prisma yang diperoleh melalui pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) secara teoritis. Proses kognitif pemahaman matematis tersebut dapat dilihat dari kegiatan siswa dalam pengerjaan masalah pada LKS. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif yang secara umum mereduksi data, menampilkan data, dan menganalisis isi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini, terungkap bahwa proses kognitif pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi bangun ruang prisma yang memperoleh melalui pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Think Pair Share adalah siswa membangun sendiri mengenai pemahamannya di setiap materinya dengan mengerjakan setiap permasalahan di LKS. Sementara itu proses kognitif pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi bangun ruang prisma yang memperoleh melalui pembelajaran konvensional adalah siswa menerima pemahaman dari penjelasan guru. Analysis Theoritical The Cognitive Process of Student’s Mathematical Understanding of The Prism Geometry with Cooperative Learning Type Think Pair Share (TPS). This study aims to determine the cognitive process of student’s mathematical understanding of the prism geometry through theoretical Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share (TPS). The cognitive process of mathematical understanding can be seen from the activities of students in working on problems in the worksheet. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data analysis is done descriptively which generally reduces data, displays data, and analyzes content. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion in this study, it was known that the cognitive process of students' mathematical understanding of prism geometry through Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share is that students build their own understanding material on every problem in the worksheet. Meanwhile the cognitive process of student’s mathematical understanding on the prism geometry material obtained through conventional learning is that students receive understanding from the teacher’s explanation.
