Abstract
Untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematis seorang individu memerlukan kemampuan penalaraan yang baik. Melalui penalaran, peserta didik diharapkan dapat melihat bahwa matematika merupakan kajian masuk akal atau logis. Penelitian ini menelaah tentang keamampuan penalaran matematis siswa pada materi bangun datar dan mendeskripsikan faktor yang mempengaruhi tercapainya keampuan penalaran siswa. Metode penelitian ini merupakan peneitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri atas: metode tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini yakni 4 orang siswa kelas IV SDN Ibun 1. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes dan wawancara dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan rerata presentase kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa 60%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas IV SDN Ibun 1 memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis kategori baik. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi keamampuan penalaran matematis siswa meliputi faktor internal dan ekternal, faktor internal berupa pengetahuan dan pengalaman peserta didik, Sedangkan faktor ekternal berupa lingkungan dan dukungan. Kemampuan penalaran siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan pemilihan metode dan starategi pembelajaran oleh pendidik. To solve the mathematical problems of an individual requires good reasoning ability. Through reasoning, learners are expected to see that mathematics is a sensible or logical study. This reasearch studied the knowledge of mathematical reasoning of students on the flat build material and described factors affecting the achievement of student reasoning. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive thicitian. Data collection techniques used consist of: test methods, interviews and documentation. Subject study was 4 students of grade IV of SDN Ibun 1. Research instruments used in the form of tests and interviews are analyzed qualitatively. Data analysis results show the average mathematical reasoning ability of 60% students. It can be concluded that the grade IV students of SDN Ibun 1 have a good mathematical reasoning ability category. While the factors that affect the mathematical reasoning of students include internal and external factors, the internal factor in the knowledge and experience of learners, while the external factors in the form of environmental and support. Student reasoning ability can be improved by educator selection and learning strategy.
