Abstract

ABSTRAK Siti Nur Solihah (2020) Studi Literatur Pengaruh Pembelajaran Etnomatematika Sunda Terhadap Kemampuan Dasar Matematis Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Budaya adalah kebiasaan masyarakat yang bentuknya bisa berupa sikap, benda maupun ide. Dengan menggabungkan matematika dengan budaya yang mana sangat dekat dengan siswa, merupakan alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Guru yang menerapkan pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya atau etnomatematika khususnya kebudayaan Sunda pada siswa sekolah dasar tidak hanya sekedar belajar matematika dan mengembangkan kemampuan dasar matematis saja akan tetapi dapat membuat siswa lebih dekat dengan budayanya sendiri serta sebagai bentuk melestarikan budaya. Kemampuan dasar matematis penting dimiliki siswa guna mengembangkan cara berpikir logis, analitis dan sistematis. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif yang khas tanpa prosedur statistik. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan atau studi literatur. Studi literatur merupakan penelitian yang dihadapkan pada teks atau data siap pakai sehingga dapat dilakukan tanpa batasan ruang dan waktu. Sumber data yang digunakan peneliti ialah data sekunder berupa karya tulis ilmiah seperti skripsi dan artikel. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti mencari dan memperoleh data yang relevan dengan topik yang akan diteliti. Setelah itu, peneliti menganalisis data tersebut sehingga mencapai kesimpulan studi literatur. Berdasarkan penelitian mengenai studi literatur dari beberapa penelitian yang telah dianalisis, pembelajaran etnomatematika Sunda memberi dampak atau pengaruh terhadap kemampuan dasar matematis siswa. Pembelajaran etnomatematika Sunda memiliki nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional setelah siswa mendapat treatment dan melakukan posttest. Selisih terkecil dari skor rata-rata yaitu 6,20 dan skor terbesarnya adalah 19,20. Culture is a community habit which can take the form of attitudes, objects or ideas. Combining mathematics with a culture which is very close to students, is an alternative in learning mathematics. Teachers who apply culture-based or ethnomathematics learning, especially Sundanese culture to elementary school students, do not only learn mathematics and develop basic mathematical abilities, but can make students closer to their own culture and as a form of preserving culture. Basic mathematical abilities are important for students to develop logical, analytical and systematic ways of thinking. The approach used is a typical qualitative approach without statistical procedures. This research method is library research or literature study. Literature study is research that is exposed to ready-to-use text or data so that it can be carried out without the limitations of time and space. The data source used by researchers is secondary data in the form of scientific papers such as theses and articles. In data collection, researchers seek and obtain data relevant to the topic to be studied. After that, the researcher analyzed the data so as to reach the conclusion of the literature study. Based on research on literature studies from several studies that have been analyzed, Sundanese ethnomathematics learning has an impact or influence on students basic mathematical abilities. Sundanese ethnomathematics learning has a higher average value than conventional learning after students receive treatment and do a posttest.
