Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh performance assessment pencucian linen hotel yang digunakan di SMK baru terbatas pada proses kerja saja dan belum teruji validitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) merencanakan performance assessment pencucian linen hotel berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, (2) mengembangkan performance assessment pencucian linen hotel untuk praktik laundry di housekeeping department (3) melakukan uji validasi performance assessment melalui expert judgment. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model PPE yang merupakan singkatan Planning, Production. Evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) performance assessment pencucian linen hotel yang digunakan di SMK baru terbatas pada proses kerja dan belum teruji validitasnya. Sehingga temuan ini yang menjadi kebutuhan dalam merancang performance assessment pencucian linen hotel, (2) performance assessment dikembangkan sesuai dengan SOP hotel yang meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap proses dan tahap hasil, (3) kegiatan expert judgment dilakukan oleh empat validator yaitu dua ahli assessment dan dua ahli materi. Hasil dari kegiatan expert judgment performance assessment pencucian linen hotel menunjukan kriteria sangat layak sehingga dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk menilai peserta didik pada saat melakukan praktik pencucian linen hotel. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini dapat ditindak lanjuti dengan cara melakukan implementasi performance assessment pencucian linen hotel untuk praktik laundry di housekeeping department. This research is motivated by the performance assessment of hotel linen washing used in vocational schools is limited to the work process only and has not been tested for validity. This study aims to: (1) plan a performance assessment of hotel linen washing based on needs analysis, (2) developing a hotel linen washing performance assessment for laundry practices at the housekeeping department, (3) validating performance assessment through expert judgment. The model used in this study refers to the PPE model which stands for Planning, Production. Evaluation. The results showed that: (1) Performance assessment of hotel linen washing which used by SMK are restricted to working procedure and its validity has not been tested. So these findings are a necessity in designing a hotel linen washing performance assessment, (2) performance assessment is developed refers to hotel SOP which includes the preparation phase, the process phase and the outcome phase, (3) Validation activities through expert judgment are carried out by four validators, namely two assessment experts and two material experts.. The results of the expert judgment performance assessment activities of hotel linen washing show that the criteria are very reasonable so that it can be used by teachers to assess students when doing hotel linen washing practices. Recommendations from this research can be followed up by implementing a performance assessment of hotel linen washing for laundry practices in the housekeeping department.
