Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh rancangan prosedur praktikum pemurnian bioetanol dengan pendekatan inkuiri sehingga dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam materi minyak bumi. Metode penelitian mixed methods, dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 16 siswa kelas XI salah satu SMA di Sulawesi Tenggara. Diperoleh hasil penelitian prosedur praktikum pemurnian bioetanol menggunakan alat destilasi dengan alat sederhana dan proses adsorpsi. Keterlaksanaan praktikum pemurnian bioetanol dengan pendekatan inkuiri sangat baik pada tahapan menarik kesimpulan dan mengkomunikasikan dan dibawah rata-rata pada tahapan merumuskan masalah dan hipotesis. Hasil penilaian berpikir kreatif meningkat pada aspek keterampilan berpikir lancar, dan terjadi penurunan pada aspek keterampilan berpikir luwes. Hasil penilaian sikap kreatif diperoleh peningkatan pada aspek kerja sama dengan kategori baik dan terjadi penurunan pada aspek rasa ingin tahu dan tanggung jawab. Hasil pengukuran tindakan kreatif dalam kategori baik. Hasil tanggapan guru dan siswa berkategori sangat baik pada aspek tanggapan tindakan kreatif dan sikap kreatif. Sedangkan, aspek pembelajaran inkuiri berkategori baik hasil tanggapan guru dan siswa.; This research aimed to obtain a bioethanol purification practicum procedure design with an inquiry approach so could enhance student creativity in petroleum material. The research used mixed methods, with the type of quasi-experimental research design one group pretest-posttest. The research subjects were 16 students of grade XI at one of the high schools in Southeast Sulawesi. The results research of the bioethanol refining practicum procedure were obtained by a distillation device using a simple tool and adsorption. The implementation of bioethanol purification practice with inquiry approach was very good at the stage of drawing conclusions and communicating below the average at the stage of formulating problems and hypotheses. The results of the assessment of creative thinking increased in aspects of fluent thinking skills, and a decline in aspects of flexible thinking skills. The results of the assessment of creative attitudes obtained an increase in aspects of cooperation with good categories and a decrease in aspects of curiosity and responsibility. The results of creative action measurements were in good categories. The results of the analysis of teacher and student responses indicate that the bioethanol refining practicum design made it easy for teachers to teach and increase student enthusiasm study.
