Abstract
Karakteristik gambar ekspresi karya siswa kelas 3 dipilih karena tingkat ekpresi kreatifnya sedang dalam masa emas atau puncak. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 01 Gandrungmangu Kecamatan Gandrungmangu Kabupaten Cilacap. Kepala Sekolah, Guru Wali Kelas 3, dan gambar ekspresi karya siswa-siswi kelas 3 SDN 01 Gandrungmangu menjadi narasumber dan objek yang diteliti. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tipe dan gaya pada gambar ekspresi karya siswa kelas 3 tersebut. Berdasarkan teori yang ada, perkembangan mental dan kreativitas anak usia kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar termasuk ke dalam masa bagan (schematic stage). Pendekatan kualitatif merupakan metode yang cocok dalam menggali makna yang terdapat pada objek penelitian yang dikaji peneliti. Selanjutnya dalam pemilihan metode, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif yang memiliki dominansi dalam penggambaran data. Dalam kajian gambar ekspresi yang dihasilkan oleh siswa, peneliti menggambarkan secara utuh data yang diperoleh, kemudian melakukan interpretasi dan analisis tanpa melakukan manipulasi terhadap data. Data yang diperoleh tersebut kemudian diproses melalui beberapa tahap lalu dikaji secara mendalam menggunakan teori yang telah ada baik dari segi unsur visual (gaya, tipe, dan komposisi) maupun konseptualnya. Setelah penelitian dilakukan, diperoleh hasil penelitian yang kemudian disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik umum yang muncul dalam gambar karya siswa laki-laki maupun perempuan sebagian besar adalah tipe visual. Hal ini dipengaruhi faktor pembelajaran guru yang mengarahkan siswa untuk meniru bentuk yang sudah tersedia di alam maupun di buku-buku pelajaran. Dengan cara belajar yang demikian, anak akan mengamati objek yang “ideal” dalam hasil gambar yang akan mereka buat. Mereka akan mengidentifikasi objek dengan baik, mulai dari warna, bentuk, dan sebagainya. Tipe haptik sebagian kecil ditemukan pada hasil gambar anak. Gaya yang tampak pada gambar karya siswa kelas 3 yaitu sebagian bergaya structural form, sebagian kecil bergaya lyrical, rhythmical pattern, dan romantic. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disarankan agar tenaga profesional atau guru pengajar di bidang kesenirupaan lebih memperdalam pengetahuan dan wawasan mengenai teori kreativitas dan ekspresi kreatif siswa. Abstract Characteristics of expressive drawings made by class 3 have choosen because of their creative expression levels are in the golden age or top period . The research is located in SDN 01 Gandrungmangu subdistrict Gandrungmangu, Cilacap regency. The Headmaster, Teacher of Class 3, and expressive drawings made by class 3 students of SDN 01 Gandrungmangu become an informant and research object. The purpose of the research was to determine the type and style of class 3 student’s expressive drawings. Based on the existing theory, mental development and creativity of children ages 3 elementary school classes belong to the period of the schema ( schematic stage ). A qualitative approach is a suitable method to explore the meaning of the object contained in the studies reviewed research. Furthermore, the selection of methods, researchers used a descriptive method that has dominance in the depiction of the data. In a study of expression of images produced by students, researchers describe fully the data obtained, and then perform the analysis without interpretation and manipulation of the data. The data obtained is then processed through several stages and then studied in depth using existing theories both in terms of visual elements ( style, type, and composition ) as well as conceptual. Once the research is done, the result of research concluded that the common characteristics that appear in the drawings of boys and girls students are mostly visual type. Only a little amount of Haptic type found in the results of the children drawings. It is influenced by factors that drive student teachers learning to replicate the form that is readily available in the nature and in subject books . With such a way of learning, children will observe objects that are "ideal" in the outcome of their images to be made . They will identify the objects well, ranging from color, shape, and so on. A few of haptic type found in the results of the child image. Styles shown in the drawings of the class 3 students are mostly stylized structural form, another few amount lyrical style, rhythmical pattern, and romantic. Based on these results, it is suggested that professionals or teachers teaching in the field of artistic further deepening of knowledge and insight about the theory of creativity and creative expression of students.
