Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pemberdayaan guru dan kepuasan kerja guru di SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pemberdayaan guru, gambaran kepuasan kerja guru dan pengaruh pemberdayaan guru terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan mengingat kepuasan kerja guru yang fluktuatif di SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Bahkan mengalami penurunan yang cukup memprihatinkan pada tahun 2017 ke tahun 2018. Penulis tertarik untuk mencari faktor penyebab yang mampu meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey dengan angket sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Responden adalah guru tetap SMK Negeri 3 Bandung sebanyak 78 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pemberdayaan guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Pada koefisien deteminasi ditemukan bahwa pemberdayaan guru berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 19,1%, sedangkan 80,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. his research examines teacher empowerment and teacher job satisfaction in public vocational high school 3 Bandung. The purpose is to find out the representation of teacher empowerment, representation of teacher job satisfaction and effect of teacher empowerment on teacher job satisfaction. This research was conducted because teacher job satisfaction in public vacation high school 3 Bandung tends to fluctuate from year to year, even decreased from 2017 to 2018. The author is interested in finding the causative factors that can increase teacher job satisfaction. This research employed a survey research method which used questionnaire as a technique in collecting the data. The responden are permanent teachers public vocational high school 3 Bandung numbered 78 persons. The data analysis technique uses regression analysis. Based on research results it was found that teacher empowerment had a positive and significant effect on teacher job satisfaction. On the coefficient of determination it was found that 19,1%, of teacher empowerment influenced to the teacher job satisfaction while 80,9% influenced by other factors which is not examined in this study.
