Abstract
Robotika sudah sangat berkembang dan kita tidak bisa menolak kehadiran teknologi tersebut. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan pembelajaran robotika sedini mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa SMP (Sekolah Menengah Pertama) dalam mempelajari robotika. Oleh karena itu, peneliti membangun kit robot dengan tujuan untuk membantu dalam pembelajaran robotika pada usia SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian ADDIE dengan tahapan-tahapan meliputi: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi dan (5) evaluasi. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil: 1) Kit Robot Line Follower telah dikembangkan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi serta dinilai baik oleh ahli media dengan rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 83.25%, 2) respon siswa terhadap kit robot line follower didapatkan penilaian keseluruhan 3,23 yang berarti direspon positif oleh siswa dengan persentase 80,75% dengan kriteria sangat baik, 3) kit robot line follower dapat mendukung pembelajaran ekstrakulikuler dalam memberikan pemahaman robotika dasar, 4) kit robot line follower dapat mendukung pembelajaran perakitan robot dalam ranah psikomotorik. This study aims to determine the response of junior high school students in learning robotics. Robotics is very developed and we cannot reject the presence of this technology. Therefore, learning robotics is needed as early as possible. This study aims to determine the response of junior high school students in learning robotics. Therefore, researchers built a robot kit with the aim of assisting in learning robotics at middle school age. This study uses the ADDIE research method with stages including: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation and (5) evaluation. From this study, the results are: 1) Line Follower Robot Kit has been developed through several stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation and assessed by media experts with an average percentage of feasibility of 83.25%, 2) student response to the kit line follower robots obtained an overall rating of 3.23 which means that they were responded positively by 80.75% students with very good criteria, 3) line follower robot kits can support extracurricular learning in providing basic robotics understanding, 4) line follower robot kits can support robot assembly learning in the psychomotor realm.
