Abstract
Pada abad 21 ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi berkembang dengan sangat pesat sehingga menimbulkan tantangan yang harus dihadapi oleh setiap individu yang dikenal dengan tantangan abad 21. Tantangan abad 21 dapat dicapai melalui pendidikan untuk dapat menghasilkan individu yang memiliki keterampilan abad 21 seperti Critical thinking, Creativity and Innovation, Collaboration, dan communication. Project Based Learning (PjBL) merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat melatihkan keterampilan abad 21 tersebut. Mengingat pentingnya keterampilan abad 21 sebagai bekal untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21 maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan abad 21 siswa kelas XI IPA di salah satu SMA swasta kota Bandung pada pembelajaran PjBL. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan strategi studi kasus dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu rubrik keterampilan abad 21 yang diadaptasi dari Buck Institute of Education. Hasil penelitian menunjukan untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan kreatif dan inovatif sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori dibawah standar, sedangkan untuk keterampilan kolaborasi dan komunikasi sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori mendekati standar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut keterampilan abad 21 (4C) siswa perlu ditingkatkan lagi. In the 21st century science and technology are growing so rapidly that it poses challenges faced by every individual who is known for the challenges of the 21st century. 21st century challenges can be achieved through education to produce individuals with 21st century skills such as Critical thinking, Creativity and Innovation , Collaboration, and communication. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is one of the learning that can trill 21st century skills. Given the importance of 21st century skills as a provision to face the challenges of the 21st century hence the purpose of this research is to know the skill profile of 21st century students of science class XI in one of Bandung private high school on learning PjBL. This research uses descriptive method with case study strategy and data analysis using descriptive statistic. The instrument used is a 21st century skill piece adapted from the Buck Institute of Education. The research results show for critical thinking skills and creative and innovative skills most students are in the category under the standard, while for the collaboration and communication skills of most students are in the category close to the standard. Based on these results 21st century skills (4C) students need to be improved again.
