Hazar Nurbani. 2018. “Efektivitas Teknik Cinema-therapy untuk Meningkatkan Self-Efficacy Siswa dalam Belajar (Studi Kuasi Eksperimen terhadap siswa kelas XII SMKN 13 Bandung Jurusan Analisis Kimia, Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019). Tesis. Dibimbing oleh Prof. Dr. Ahman, M.Pd (Pembimbing I) dan Dr. Suherman, M.Pd (Pembimbing II). Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling, Sekolah Pascasarjana, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi adanya gejala penurunan self-efficacy siswa dalam belajar yaitu ketidaktuntasan dalam penyelesaian tugas pelajaran, sering mangkir mengumpulkan tugas, bolos sekolah dan tidak percaya diri dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy dalam belajar adalah melalui teknik cinema-therapy. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen kuasi dan pre and posttest with group control design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil self-efficacy siswa dalam belajar sebagian besar ada pada kategori sedang yaitu sebagian aspek sudah optimal namun ada tiga aspek pada kategori rendah dari tiap-tiap dimensi yang perlu ditingkatkan; bimbingan melalui teknik cinema-therapy terbukti tidak efektif untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy dalam belajar karena beberapa faktor yang terjadi. Rekomendasi penelitian ditujukan kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk menguasai teknik cinema-therapy sebelum menerapkan pada layanan penanganan siswa selanjutnya; melibatkan siswa dalam pemilihan film sehingga pesan yang ingin disampaikan kepada siswa dapat sampai tepat sasaran; memperlihatkan kondisi fisik dan psikis siswa yang akan di treatment; memperhatikan semua tahapan cinema-therapy.;---The research is motivated by the phenomenon of decreasing students' self-efficacy in learning, namely incompleteness in completing lesson assignments, frequent absenteeism in collecting assignments, and not confidence in their abilities. One of the efforts to improve academic self-efficacy is through the technique of cinema-therapy. The research methodology used quantitative approach with quasi experiment method and prt-posttest with group control design.The results showed: most student’s self-efficacy profile academic in medium category hich was partly optimal but there were three aspects in the low category of each dimension and needed to be improved; Cinema-therapy techniques have proven to be ineffective in increasing self-efficacy in learning because of several factors that occur. The research recommendation is directed to guidance and counseling teacher before to apply subsequent student handling services and involving students in the selection of films / cinema so that the message to be conveyed to students can arrive on target. Reveal the physical and psychological conditions of students who will be treated; pay attention to all stages of cinema therapy.
