    Permasalahan yang diangkat pada penelitian ini adalah mengenai tingginya risiko musculoskeletal disorders yang dialami oleh mahasiswa DPTM UPI Angkatan 2017 ketika melakukan praktik tune up motor bensin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi risiko musculoskeletal disorders yang terjadi pada mahasiswa DPTM UPI Angkatan 2017 yang melaksanakan praktik tune up motor bensin. Faktor yang mempengaruhi tingginya risiko musculoskeletal disorders adalah ketinggian engine stand yang tidak dapat disesuaikan dengan postur tubuh mahasiswa DPTM UPI Angkatan 2017 sehingga menimbulkan risiko musculoskeletal disorders. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa DPTM UPI Angkatan 2017. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling purposive. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa DPTM UPI Angkatan 2017 yang sedang melaksanakan praktik mata kuliah motor bensin. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan adjustable height engine stand pada praktik tune up motor bensin dapat mengurangi risiko musculoskeletal disorders dari level risiko sedang menjadi kecil.

    The problem raised in this study is about the high risk of musculoskeletal disorders experienced by college student DPTM UPI 2017 when practicing tune up of gasoline motors. This study aims to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders that occur in DPTM UPI 2017 students who carry out the practice of tune up gasoline motors. The factor that influences the high risk of musculoskeletal disorders is the height of the engine stand that cannot be adjusted to the body posture of DPTM UPI 2017 students so that it creates a risk of musculoskeletal disorders. This research method is descriptive with cross-sectional design. The population in this study was DPTM UPI 2017 college students. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was DPTM UPI 2017 college students who were carrying out practical gasoline motorcycle courses. The results of this study indicate that the use of an adjustable height engine stand in the practice of tune up gasoline engines can reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders from moderate to moderate risk levels.
