Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi angka Rata-rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) di Provinsi Jawa Barat, yaitu: Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) (x_1), Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) (x_2), dan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) (x_3). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel yaitu kombinasi 27 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat dari tahun 2006 sampai 2016. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa (1) Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Rata-Rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) di Provinsi Jawa Barat. (2) Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) tidak berpengaruh terhadap Rata-Rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) di Provinsi Jawa Barat. (3) Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) berpengaruh terhadap variabel Rata-Rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) di Provinsi Jawa Barat. (4) BOS, PDRB, dan PAD secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap RLS di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian di atas dapat dimanfaatkan untuk perencanaan pendidikan komprehensif di tingkat pusat. Melalui hasil penelitian ini, pemerintah dapat menganalisis intervensi finansial dari pemerintah bagi pendidikan serta kontribusi variabel ekonomi tiap wilayah untuk meningkatkan rata-rata lama sekolah di Indonesia.:---The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of some factors toward the Mean Year of Schooling (MYS) in West Java Province. The factors that has been studied are Operational Aid to School Program (x_1), Gross Regional Domestic Product (x_2), and Own-Source Revenue (x_3). The method used in this research is regression analysis to a set of panel data, combination of data from of 27 regencies/cities in West Java Province from 2006 until 2016. The result of this research are as follow (1) Operational Aid to School Program has a positive and significant influence on Mean Year of Schooling in West Java province. (2) Gross Regional Domestic Product has no affect toward the Mean Year of Schooling in West Java province. (3) Own-Source Revenue has affect to the Mean Year of Schooling in West Java Province. (4) Simultaneously, Operational Aid to School Program, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Own-Source Revenue affect the Mean Year of Schooling in West Java province. The results of this research can be used as the material for comprehensive education planning at the scope of central-government. The government could analyze the contribution of its financial intervention altogether with the regional economic variables contribution to increase the Mean Year of Schooling in Indonesia.
