Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dari media Arduino pada mata pelajaran sistem komputer di SMKN 2 Bandung. Permasalahan yang ada yaitu kurangnya hasil belajar siswa untuk materi penerapan dasar-dasar mikrokontroler pada mata pelajaran sistem komputer di SMKN 2 Bandung. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI Teknik Komputer dan Informasi SMKN 2 Bandung Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan design pre-experimental. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, pretest, treatment, dan posttest. Temuan awal penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu nilai peserta didik yang masih dibawah nilai KKM. Berdasarkan dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa ketika sebelum dan sesudah diberi treatment sehingga dapat dihitung nilai gain dari proses treatment yang terjadi. Hasil dari gain yang terhitung tersebut menentukan apakah media arduino terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik atau tidak, dan karena gain yang terhitung melebihi yang diharapkan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media arduino terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, psikomotor, dan afektif siswa kelas X Teknik Komputer dan Infromasi SMKN 2 Bandung.:---This study aims to determine the implementation of Arduino media on computer system subjects at SMKN 2 Bandung. This research was conducted to solve the existing problems, namely the absence of Arduino media in computer system subjects at SMKN 2 Bandung. Respondents in this study were class X and XI students of Computer and Information Engineering at SMKN 2 Bandung 2017/2018 Academic Year. The research method used is quantitative with pre-experimental design. Data collection techniques include interviews, pretest, treatment, and posttest. The initial findings of this study indicate that there are problems that occur, namely the value of students who are still below the KKM value. Based on the research that has been done, there are differences in student learning outcomes when before and after being given treatment so that the gain value of the treatment process can be calculated. The result of the calculated gain determines whether Arduino media is proven to be effective in improving the cognitive abilities of students or not, and because the gain is more than expected, it can be concluded that Arduino media has proven to be effective in improving the cognitive abilities of students of class X Computer Engineering and Information in SMKN 2 Bandung.
