Abstract
Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan analisis kelayakan dari buku teks kimia SMA/MA kelas XI pada materi kesetimbangan kimia berdasarkan kriteria tahap seleksi dari 4S TMD. Sejalan dengan kriteria kelayakan buku pada tahap seleksi dari 4S TMD penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan buku berdasarkan kesesuaian materi yang disampaikan dengan kurikulum, kebenaran konsep, dan nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena ditemukannya ketidaktepatan konsep pada materi kesetimbangan kimia dalam buku teks kimia SMA/MA di lapangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode evaluatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa objek penelitian memiliki 18 konsep. Dari 18 konsep tersebut terdapat konsep yang tidak termuat dalam tuntutan kurikulum dan terdapat tuntutan kurikulum yang tidak termuat dalam objek penelitian sehingga kesesuaian materi objek penelitian masih dinyatakan belum sesuai dengan kurikulum. Analisis kebenaran konsep mengacu kepada konsep standar, terdapat 8 konsep objek penelitian yang dinyatakan salah secara keilmuan. Nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan pada objek penelitian diantaranya adalah nilai religius, gemar membaca, disiplin, bersahabat/komunikatif, menghargai prestasi, rasa ingin tahu, dan kerja keras. ;--- This research carried out was a properness analysis of the XI grade high school chemistry textbook on chemical equilibrium based on the criteria for the selection step of the 4S TMD. In line with the book eligibility criteria at the selection step of the 4S TMD, this study aims to determine the properness of the book based on the suitability of the material delivered with the curriculum, the truth of the concept, and the values instilled. This research was conducted because of the discovery of the inaccuracy of the concept in the chemical equilibrium material in the high school textbooks of the high school in the field. The research method used is an evaluative method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study state that the object of research has 18 concepts. Of the 18 concepts there are concepts that are not contained in the curriculum demands and there are demands for curriculum that are not contained in the object of research so that the suitability of the material object of the research is still stated not in accordance with the curriculum. Analysis of the truth of the concept refers to the standard concept, there are 8 concepts of research objects which are declared scientifically wrong. The values embedded in the object of research include religious values, reading likes, discipline, friendliness / communicative, appreciating achievement, curiosity, and hard work.
