Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi atas keingintahuan peneliti terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement divisions (STAD) untuk meningkatkan tanggung jawab belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 15 Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sikap tanggung jawab belajar peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran STAD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis & Mc Taggart berbentuk spiral atau siklus. Model ini terdiri dari 4 tindakan yaitu perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting) dengan pemilihan sampel kelas VIII G SMPN 15 Bandung. Hasil penelitian dengan menerapkan model STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) terhadap peningkatan tanggung jawab belajar peserta didik kelas VIII G di SMP Negeri 15 Bandung disimpulkan mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan tanggung jawab belajar peserta didik pada setiap siklusnya. Disiklus satu memperoleh persentase kelompok sebesar 66,4 % yang termasuk kategori cukup. Disiklus dua memperoleh persentase kelompok sebesar 84,2% yang termasuk kategori baik. Disiklus tiga memperoleh persentase sebesar 92,01% yang termasuk kategori baik. ;--- This research is motivated by the researcher’s curiosity toward the application of cooperative learning model of student teams achievement divisions (STAD) to improve students learning responsibility in social studies in SMPN 15 Bandung. The purpose of this research is to know the attitude of learners responsibility after application of learning model STAD. The research method used as action research class model Kemmis & Mc Taggart spiral or cycle. This model consists of 4 actions is planning, acting, observing, and reflecting with the selection of sample of class VIII G SMPN 15 Bandung. The result of the research by applying STAD (student teams achievement divisions) model to the improvement of learning responsibility of class VIII G students at SMPN 15 Bandung is concluded to increase. This can be seen from the increased responsibility of learners in each cycle.one cycle gained a group percentage of 66,4% which belong to enough category. The second cycle gained a group percentage of 84,2% which belongs to the good category. The third cycle earned 92,01% percentage of good category.
